Lovely liveries only need apply no point in wasting both our times if you only want to bitch as that not what our yard is about.

Don't forget guys while the weather is as stunning as it is, we are offering all day parking for your box or trucks on pur main yard for just £10 just like the lovely Claire and her friend did today.

This allows you to hack out from our yard round our bridal routes onto the river mersey and beyond 😁

We also have an ice cream parlor right next door Cob Kiln Gelato or do a spot of shopping in Urmston Tack and Feed

As yard with over 35 horses we do our best to have all of the horses fall in line with each other when it comes to farrier, vet and dentist visits this enables us to avoid any welfare issues as it's often very easy on larger yards to miss spot when someone has fell behind with appointments or treatments.

We do this so we can properly keep track of where each horse is upto and keep them in the best of health

We've been very lucky over the years to have had some great farriers. Lee Manning is our current farrier and we really appreciate the time he spends with us and the education he provides every single visit 😁

Its impossible to do all ours in one day so they are staggered and yesterday almost half the yard was done with a lot of full sets, half sets and trims so today this is an appreciation post to Lees back 🤣💪

We've added a few benches for our liveries to relax on throughout the day around our arena and afterall it would be rude not to when the weather is as amazing as it is at the minute

Since our washout in January everyone on Meadowgate Livery Stables have been working really hard on cleanup and improving the place so when we get lovely messages like these all the hard work, sweat and bad language seem so worth while ❤️

Thank you everyone for your continued support and to the haters......we ain't finished yet 🤣

Today we had the lovely Megan Thomson from feel good equine sports massage and training come and give some of our liveries lessons.

We will be having many more sessions like today coming up, not just with Megan but with a selection of instructors who teach a variety of disciplines whom we have come to know over the years.

We will definitely be keeping our residents ticking over during the winter period.
