Can anyone help little old Alice

We need social media to do its thing on this one as we have appealed for a retirement home for the gorgeous Alice a number of times but she is still with us.

Alice is a very lively 13-year-old staffie who came to us when her owner passed away. She isn't keen on life in the kennels and needs her own comfy couch.

She can be quite anxious and vocal but really love people’s company (although she isn't keen on other dogs and cats!)

Alice's favourite thing to do is play ball in the sandpit and have a good run around.

Games - £1 per go all money raised goes to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary – Prizes to be won
- Sit and Stay – can you navigate the hula hoops and get back to the start whilst your dog sits and stays?
- Agility jump, siz jumps can your dog jump all 6 in record time? Top 3 times on the day win prizes
- Pluck a duck – can your dog pluck a duck out of our water pool? Don’t be fooled by all the other squeaky toys, duck being plucked are the only winners
- Lickimat race – 4 /6 dogs against each other – 1 race every 15 minutes – fastest clean mat wins a prize per race - who doesn’t love a Lickimat
- Weeny race – have you got the speediest small/mini breed dog? Enter into our race at 1.30 top 3 dogs win prizes (must be under 10kg)

Play zones
- 2 playzone designated to weights
- mini / medium (10kg dogs) ball pit and toys let dogs off lead if you want whilst they enjoy free playtime and socialising – all dogs must be supervised by owners at all times
- Medium/ large breed play area – lots of toys and balls – enjoy free play off lead – all dogs must be supervised by owners at all time

12.45 – Intro into Scent Training with Gareth from Forever Home Dog Training
1.30pm – Rescue dogs & their integration with Ben the Doggy Dude
2pm – Reactivity and What it is – with Laura from Bark to Basics
2.45pm – (Puppy) long lead walking make fetch happen dog training
Dog Show - £1 to all goes to Bleakholt – prizes for top 3 in each category

This year at our event we have not one not two but three top trainers on hand to demo and talk you through various different training techniques.

First up at 12.45 will be Gareth from who will be hosting a super fun SCENT TRAINING session.
Dogs will love this have-a-go session so make sure you get there in time to have some enrichment fun

Then 1.30pm have a listen to who will chat about rescue dogs! The way the dogs sees things and what people need to do when they do rescue a dog.
Will also be there to chat to about rehoming!

And last but certainly not least watch, learn and take part with Laura from Bark 2 Basics Dog Training
Covering what Reactivity is & explanation that Reactivity doesn’t always = an aggressive or even an unfriendly dog
