This is the very friendly giant Bruno. Bruno comes in to receive his chemotherapy. He is always the happiest boy when he comes in to see us.
You may notice the little duck in the photo, this is a CM duck, raising awareness for early detection for breast cancer.
Bruno and Ducky were very well behaved for their appointment!

**FOUND KITTEN**

A female tabby kitten, approx 4-5 months old has been bought into us this afternoon.

She is fit and well, she isn't microchipped, no collar, so we are unable to locate her owner.

Found on Pickersleigh Road.

Proof of ownership will be required.

We are sad to say that unfortunately we have had a deceased cat bought into us this morning.

We are unable to identify the gender due to the extent of the injuries.

They are petite, black and white. Found on Como Road. No microchip or collar.

If you have any information which could help us find this little ones owner, we will be very thankful.

What can I say? It is the end of what has been a magnificent era.

Some of your are aware that this week was Johns last. As a team we are immensely proud of the team we've become under Johns leadership .

John would like to thank each and everyone of you that has wished him well and/or
dropped of gifts he's is very grateful.

As a team we endeavour to carry on the ethos and values of the practice whilst maintaining the Masefield name.

Nurses team . . . . . we are now a team of 7 nurses. From left to right we have Jen, Jess, Andi, Abi, Hannah and Katy. The photo is missing Issy, but to have 6 of us in at once was a rarity so we took the opportunity to have a photo!
Nurse clinics will be back from the 1st October in our brand new nurse consult building 🥳 (the old hydro centre). These appointments will include nail clips, weight clinics, a**l glands, de-matts and much more!
We can't wait to see you all again in consults!!

we have had a tan and white dog handed into us. Found on road near Peachfield common. chipped but not registered. proof of ownership will be required. please call if you believe it is yours.

We are sad to announce we have had a deceased adult tabby cat brought into us this morning. Found in Welland on the main road. If you have reason to believe this cat might be yours, please ring the surgery on 01684 576464

Grass seed season!!
We are fully into grass seed season and we have taken many out from your dogs! We have been finding them in ears, mouths, feet, eyes and even lungs!
This is Flo . . . Flo came into us with a swelling to her head! We looked for a seed but could not find one, unfortunately the swelling came back after her antibiotics. This meant we had to go exploring!
We gave Flo a full anaesthetic and had to explore the swelling. We managed to find a grass seed. This has now resolved and Flo is back to herding her farm sheep.
