Look at this cutie! This is Bowser! Unfortunately 25 years ago Bowser (who was called Fool originally) was brought along with another tortoise called April who passed away 10 years ago, as April Fools presents for someone who is scared of reptiles. Since then the previous owner has tried her hardest to care for them but she had little to no knowledge on how to care for them properly which was not helped by the fact that she was too scared to handle them or clean them out herself. After reaching out to me we decided it would be best for him to come into my care. Currently he’s in a temp set up as this was sprung on me and I did not have anything ready for such a big guy he’s also an amazing escape artist and so far has proven himself impossible to contain. He had been free roaming his previous owners garden along with her 5 large dogs and being fed kitchen scraps but surprisingly apart from some shell pyramids and a crack or two he’s in very good health. He’s not the biggest fan of being interacted with and washing him was an experience and a half but he’s settling in well. ❤️

To all those who are terrified of my snakes my third largest bit me today and this is all she did! I promise they can’t hurt you! I’ve received much worse play fighting with my cats and dogs! Tbh getting a flu jab or blood test hurts much more than a snake bite!

I want to say a massive shout out to everyone at today! I’m so sorry I was so late and didnt get to say hi to many of you. I left my house at 8:30am got to ARC at 3pm was there till 4:15pm had dinner then drove home, and I’ve only just got home at 12:30am. What a day! I will post photos of what I collected tomorrow but for now good night! And a huge shout out to everyone who waited for me to drop off or collect animals. Xx

Allllll right everyone I need links to the most secure snake vivs on the market. Like this needs to be Fort Knox level secure! At this point my next set is super gluing the vents in but then I can’t move any wires so that’s a small issue. Uno is the world’s best escape artist!

This Mr man is such a trouble maker! He escaped his viv and was just chilling on the ground in the reptile room!
Uno luckily didn’t mind me picking him up and putting him back in which is progress.
