🦷Fresh Breath Friday! 🦷

This is Bella, she came in last week to have her teeth checked after noticing some signs of dental disease. Bella was then admitted for a general anaesthetic dental procedure. This involved our nurse Georgia completing a full scale and polish of the healthy teeth before Jon the vet removed the damaged/ unhealthy teeth.🦷 🐶

Let's talk about dental care for our best friends.
If you notice your pet:
- Has bad breath
- Is reluctant to eat
- Is chewing abnormally or dropping food out of their mouth often
- Leaving traces of blood in their food/water bowls or on toys
- Is drooling excessively

💉These are all signs your pet could be in need of a dental check.. Book in to see our nursing team for a dental check and advise on oral hygiene for your best friends 🐾

Lola came in for the day to have her blood pressure checked, a complete blood profile and urinalysis to check she is on the right medications.

Senior pet checks are a great way to keep an eye on the hidden health of our older pets. We would recommend getting your older pets checked regularly to ensure their body are working effectively🐈

Little Rufus was in for his Rabies vaccination this week as he will be travelling abroad with his family soon!

🦠Rabies virus is not seen here in the UK, so isn’t included in the routine vaccinations given. However! You will NEED a rabies vaccination if you are planning to take your best friend on holiday to many EU countries 🇪🇺

He was extremely brave and enjoyed lots of cuddles from the whole team 💉🐶
