I’m getting very booked up, and I’m currently working around 4 weeks in advance for appointments.

To avoid disappointment, I’d really recommend booking your next groom before you leave the salon, rather than waiting until the last minute. This way, I can keep your dog’s grooming schedule on track and make sure you get a time that suits you.

🌾 Grass Seed Season is Here – Please Check Your Dog’s Paws! 🐾

Grass seeds may look harmless, but they can cause serious problems for our dogs. They can easily become trapped between the toes, inside the ears, eyes, nose, or even under the skin, leading to painful infections and, in some cases, surgery to remove them.

After every walk, especially through long grass or fields, take a couple of minutes to:
🐾 Check between your dog’s toes and paw pads.
👂 Look inside their ears.
👀 Check around their eyes.
🌿 Brush through their coat, especially if they have long fur.

Meet Alfie ❤️

Alfie has to be one of the most challenging dogs I’ve worked with to date. He came to me with a bit of a reputation for being a handful and had unfortunately not been welcomed back by some groomers.

I won’t lie, after his first session with me, which involved a muzzle, p**p and p*e on the table and a lot of patience, I wasn’t sure I wanted to groom him again. But I agreed to give him another chance.

Today was Alfie fourth groom, and what a difference! We managed a full groom with no muzzle at all. Over time, I’ve realised that Alfie isn’t aggressive—he’s actually a lovely, sweet boy who struggles with some joint pain and finds the grooming process uncomfortable at times and also suffers with separation anxiety from his Dad .

We’ve found what works best for him: keeping his coat super short and getting the job done as quickly and comfortably as possible, no fancy hair cuts for Alfie . Seeing his progress has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m so proud of how far he’s come. ❤️

🖤 The amount of coat that came out today! 🖤

This lovely Labrador Ruby was in for a good de-shed and, as you can see, we could probably make another dog from all the fur that came off! 😆

A regular de-shed helps remove loose undercoat, reduces moulting around the house, and keeps the coat healthy and shiny. ✨

Such a good girl throughout her groom and looking much sleeker and feeling much cooler afterwards. 🐾💙
