HOLMECLIFFE BECAUSEOFSUN

Pickle, she captures the hearts of everyone she meets. She’s such a giddy little person that her whole body dances when she’s happy to see you. She’s a smiler, she likes to charm everyone with her killer smile.

Last season was her first season of working and she nailed it. She’d either be picking up on the grouse moors with Mr KanasWold and occasional times coming out with me on Mr KanasWolds shoot but she really excels herself in the beating line with Mr K. She’s fantastic and it’s like she’s been doing it forever, wise beyond her years.

Pickle produced our most wonderful golden litter of 2024 and we are so so proud of her. Raising the most wonderful litter, these puppies were the happiest, most thriving goldies

Figgy has held the fort this year in the shooting season, and she really has come into her own little person and shone like the super star that she is ⭐️. I think she's quickly becoming another shoot day girl Mr K can't be without

Figgy is quite a sensitive soul, and just loves to please the whole time she’s with you. She’s also definitely a processor, she can have a go at something, then go back into her kennel, come out the next day and nail it.

Figgy is also half sisters with our gorgeous Mabel, there’s something about going back to someone that you’ve got a dog from before.

HONEYMEAD THE NEW ONE

Mabel is our wonderful sass out of our golden gang, she’s stubborn, full of sass and an absolutely queen. Shes fiercely loyal to me, you can’t even tempt her away with a steak. She’s definitely a one woman dog and I’m so lucky I’m her person. She's very stubborn, but in the best possible way. She's has so much love to give and she really is one of the best Goldens in the world 😍

Meet the team…💫

Philippa and Jamie…

Husband and wife team, Jamie and Philippa- aka Jim and Flip to those closest around us. Jamie is very much hands on with the dogs, day to day looking after the girls, grooming, feeding, walking & quite often if it's time for a date with one of our girls to have a date, Jamie will be there. First and foremost however Jamie is a Head-keeper on an estate on North Yorkshire, giving the girls plenty of opportunities to work either at home or away with Jamie on other estates when he goes away.

Philippa is a stay at home Mummy and wife, which she absolutely adores but she is also the sorter, admin, planner and so much more. Philippa is the one 99% of our clients will speak to to start with whether that's emails, texts or phone calls. She keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and most importantly keeps Jamie on the straight and narrow 😂.

When we aren't busy with the dogs we LOVE indulging in some horse racing, treating ourselves to lovely pub lunches and suppers but most importantly having time away in the Lake District our girls and not forgetting our gorgeous little boy, Teddy James- who also plays a massive part in the business, even at just six years old.
