Today is the day.

After six months of dedication, hard work and commitment, Brian heads to the Knavesmire to take part in this year’s charity race aboard Intinso.

Everyone at Craig Lidster Racing would like to wish Brian the very best of luck. We are incredibly proud of the effort he has put in throughout his training journey, and even more so of the fantastic cause he is supporting.

Thanks to the generosity of so many people, Brian has already raised over £4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a truly remarkable charity that provides invaluable help, care and guidance to people and families affected by cancer when they need it most.

Today isn’t just about the race itself – it’s about raising awareness and support for a cause that touches so many lives.

Good luck Brian, Intinso and all of the other riders and horses taking part. We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable day, and we’re all cheering you on from the sidelines.

Recently retired from racing, sound, blemish free and no vices. A lovely horse with three beautiful paces and plenty of scope over hurdles. He would excel in an ROR home or eventing career.

He hacks out happily alone, has impeccable stable manners and travels well in a trailer. He has already started his ROR in-hand career and has been very successful, coming home with plenty of red ribbons.

Just a little update to say that both mum and foal are doing really well following the birth.

The foal has already picked up the stable nickname of “Poppy”, and she’s continuing to grow in confidence by the hour. As we move forward, we will allow racing names to be suggested by her owners, but for now we’re just delighted that both mum and foal are happy and healthy.

I’ve attached some more photos for you all to enjoy — it’s been lovely seeing the excitement from everyone involved in our very first foal syndicate.

Masque Of Anarchy fans 🤍

Here he is on his first outing of the year at Duncombe Park — and what a start! He came home with two 1st places 🥇🥇

Winning the In-Hand RoR class out of 8, and although he was the only one in the ridden class, he still behaved like a star and took that win too ✨

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Caesars Pearl has safely foaled during the night, and the new arrival is already up on her feet and taking her very first steps — a fantastic sight to see.

This marks a truly special milestone for us, as our very first foal syndicate, and it’s hard to put into words just how exciting it is to see it all come to life.

Mum is taking to motherhood brilliantly, and we couldn’t be happier that everything has gone so smoothly.

I’ve attached some photos for you all to enjoy — a really proud and memorable moment for everyone involved.

We are delighted to confirm that our exciting 2-year-old filly by Mohaather has now arrived safely at the yard and has settled in well over her first few days.

Even more incredibly, she is now completely SOLD OUT – a fantastic reflection of the enthusiasm and belief in this filly and our team from the outset.

As you know, she brings with her a hugely exciting profile. By a Group One-winning sire in Mohaather, and more importantly, she is a half-sister to Alfa Kellenic, who gave us one of the most memorable seasons in the yard’s history.

From winning a Newcastle maiden in style, to progressing through the ranks to a mark of 101, Alfa Kellenic delivered a remarkable six-timer, highlighted by:

A special first York winner for the yard
* Victory at the prestigious Ebor Festival
* A superb success in the Ayr Silver Cup

To improve a filly by 31lbs and earn over £130,000 in prize money speaks volumes about what can be achieved with the right horse and the right team—and that’s exactly the journey we hope this filly can take us on.

She is E.B.F. nominated and 100% GBB eligible, adding further excitement and value as we look ahead to her future on the track.

A fantastic result with Surgeon Commander getting the job done, and Maynora finishing a brave second, beaten just a nose.

Huge well done to both jockeys Jason Hart and Sean Kirrane for two excellent rides.

Absolutely buzzing for Mike & Gemma Brennan, our Craig Lidster Racing syndicate owners, picking up second place after a cracking run.
