After 43 years of changing lives through equine-assisted therapy, Clwyd Special Riding Centre is at serious risk of closing. Without immediate financial support, our future will be decided by 1st May 2025.

Our vets Gemma and Niamh have been providing veterinary duty for the first ever event and the scurry today.

We were absolutely delighted that one of our fantastic clients Paul Mckenzie (Mac to us!)’s team - the ‘Beaglin’ Rascals Fed on Radiance Gold’ were Intermediate Optimum Time Champions! Wahoo 🙌🏻🤩🐎

Mac was joined by Abbie Redshaw, Abi Purnell, Megan Woodward and their wonderful horses.

How fantastic to have a new venue on the map and support Team Chasing locally 🙌🏻

Our next client evening will be held at the lovely and this time we will be discussing ‘First Aid in the Field’!

A relevant topic for all horse owners, providing you with the knowledge to prepare yourselves for situations if your horse gets themselves into mischief (hopefully you’ll never need to use it!)

This will take place at 18.30pm@on the 7th April. Tickets are just £2 per person - spaces are limited so please book ahead to secure your spot.

Hooray for lighter evenings!!!

We hope that you are loving them as much as we are and managing to enjoy spending time with your horses after work.

Don't forget that we now offer TWILIGHT VISITS from 5.30pm -7.30pm on TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS which are only charged at normal standard visit fees, allowing you to fit in vet visits around work.

We are very excited to announce that as of next month we will be starting our very own £10 HEATH ZONE VISITS!!

We want to be more efficient, reduce our impact on the environment and pass savings on to you, our lovely clients.

These will run in five zones on Mon - Fri on the first week of every month. Check out our post for all the details and give us a call to get booked in - first come, first served.
