I take it back - Hugo's new girlfriend is Phari! After the others had done their chariging around business, we put them back in the car and left him and Phari out together. They had a wonderful play (him on an extra long long-line, although I can pretty much keep up with him anyway)!, she out-ran him but waited for him to catch up - they had a great time and a proper play - he is a lovely chap and a great foil for any sighthound, as they have to slow down, to allow him to chase them. It was delightful to watch them and he slept soundly all the way home! I will try to get some shots tomorrow. He's got a heart of gold this dog.

Hugo is quite keen on being cuddled up in a blankie for a cuddle too - he sat in my lap for over half an hour last night. These photo's don't do him justice, I will try to get Rob to get some better ones of him. He is a handsome chap.

Had to do some jobs at the front of the house, so popped everyone in the car, so we could keep an eye on them. My Dad had asked us to look out the old child seat he had for his car to give to my brother - looked in the car a few mins later, to find 2 different types of baby had discovered that it was quite comfy thanks and they rather fancied it for themselves!!!!

And Higgins in his usual pose - cuddled up under his blankets fast asleep!

No I haven't gained even more weight before you ask but this is how you keep an Italian Greyhound warm after an early morning walk! Pop them up your jumper and they tuck their head under your arm for extra warmth - I think I am in love with this little dog!

Latest boarders arrived yesterday - an Italian Greyhound called Higgins and his girlfriend, a Mini Schnauzer X called Tetley and they are adorable!!! It has made up my mind once and for all that I want an Italian Greyhound as soon as possible!! He has the weirdest straight-legged trot, a teeny head, a rather round body and a ludicrous bark that is just adorable! His little friend is sweetness incarnate too. They have been perfect guests so far, enjoyed their walks, toys and cuddles - plenty of cuddles of course as they are 'attention wh**es' according to their parents! I think love magents is probably more appropriate but they both work!

We have them here with us for the next 11 days, so I will make the most of their company and maybe their Mum and Dad will forget and leave them here with us with any luck! Will try to post some pictures of them when I can.
