Homewood classes - getting here has now become a royal pain in the bum! You can now only get here from farleigh bridge. No access from anywhere else! I don’t know how long for but apparently at least a week.

Our 29th October 2025 puppy class has a couple of spaces remaining. Class is 7.30pm.
We cover:
✅ Sit, Down, Stand
✅ Recall
✅ Loose lead walking
✅ Play
✅ Responsibility & care
✅ Relationship
✅ Controlled socialisation & advice on what to socialise
✅ Short stay in one place
✅ Lots of advice on toilet training, problem puppy behavious and more
🐾 6 week course
🐾 Small classes (Max of 6)

Our next Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizen class starts on 14th October at 7.55pm. We have a couple of spots remaining.
Some of the elements in the Bronze Good Citizens Dog Scheme:
✅Walking your dog to heel on lead
✅Walking your dog around distractions
✅Recalling your dog
✅ A one minute stay
✅Walking through a doorway under control
✅Examining and grooming your dog
✅Being able to remove and fit your dogs walking equipment
✅Questions on being a responsible dog owner
Courses are 8 weeks long with testing planned for the 8th week. Small classes (max of 6)

**DAYTIME AGILITY FOUNDATIONS-COMING SOON**
This will be a Wednesday at 1.15pm
Dogs should be at least 9 months old, must have a reasonable recall as some of it is outside and agility is done off lead.
To be held at Homewood, ME16 9LX. Start date TBC but likely October.

We have a couple of spaces on Friday evening Movement Games foundation class. Suitable for all ages of dogs including puppies.
It’s 1 hour at 6.30pm.

* NEW STARTERS HOOPERS SPACE - NOW FULL*
Starting Friday 26th Sept at 6.30pm. Classes held at Leybourne Riding stables, ME19 5HZ.
Baseless hoops are used.
Spaces for more experienced dogs later in the evening too.

Our Agility Foundations course for New starters has a couple of spaces remaining. starting on Monday 1st September at 6.30pm for 6 weeks.
Classes are held at Homewood, ME16 9LX with Lizzie.
This is likely to continue as a regular class once the 6 weeks is complete (subject to sufficient interest).

Maidstone Activity Dogs was set up in 2014 and now runs regular classes in Agility (from beginners to competition level), Good Citizen Training, Puppy training and Scentwork. We also offer 121 training. We are a very friendly club who welcomes anyone who would love to get involved and become a member of Team MAD!
