Want to know something that's tickled me today?

Since I've opened my salon doors, I've realised, I've not had a single Cockapoo through the doors?! The reason it's made me smile is at grooming school, it was literally another day, another Cockapoo. 😁

Anyway.... ive decided the next 3 cockapoos to book in, will receive £10 discount from their groom.

I may choose another breed next month❤️

What's an assisted mating? And What's involved?

Well very little actually, It involves me holding the girl and lining her up to make the boys job slightly easier or for the boys with (lack of better words) a bad aim, I'll make sure they get to the goal.

The dogs are mating naturally with a little guidance but in a controlled way, where no one gets hurt or left too traumatised at the end. Simples! 🥰

I made quick work of helping these 2 love birds along and then the appointment lasts as long as the dogs are tied for.

Just another service I can offer you and a whole load of experience.

This beautiful girl Meg, came back for a 2nd heartbeat ultrasound scan to check her pups were growing nicely. Heartbeats and movement were detected on all pups, followed by a mini tidy up groom. This included toes, pads, ears and back legs. Again the skirt has been left as the her bodybus naturally shedding this and we don't want to interfere with that.

So this beautiful girl (bred by me) is owned by my sister. 🐶She came over for a scan to confirm an accurate due date. We achieve this by measuring the pups heads. 🐶We then checked every pups heartbeats 😍 🐶Followed up with a mini tidy up groom. Absolutely no bathing in the salon for pregnant girls but because she was happy, we tidied up her toes, back legs and ears with scissors. We left her ger skirt as she is shedding it naturally and think most of it will be gone by the pups birth. 🐶Ending with a little maternity shoot! If cockers did feet pics on only fans....

And funnily enough, we've had the same request from another client this week.... minus the photoshoot.
