The Best - not very exotic - Doggy Hotel

The Best - not very exotic - Doggy Hotel The idea is that your beloved pooch can come on holiday (whilst you are away) and enjoy lovely accommodation, great company, good food and inspiring walks.

What we offer at Olde England is doggy holidays and day care as reasonable rates for the discerning pup. Situated in the Kent countryside Olde England Best Doggy Hotel is a detached Grade 2 listed cottage set in an acre of enclosed garden with lots of good sniffs and plenty of great woodland and fields to explore. The hotel has a number of permanent residents (who regularly eat me out of house and

home) so a meet and greet with the pack is recommended before making your booking. Facilities include several dog beds, settees and armchairs and spa bookings can be made through the hotel for dog washing and grooming services. This is sometimes nice for home going preparations. Walkies is twice a day - usually one long and one short which are tailored to the guest's requirements. For the sporting extreme dogs and those who may wish to partake of the Health Clinic package vigorous runs at the Woodland Trust Estate Hucking are provided daily. The garden is open all day on request. Breakfast and dinner are served for you although we recommend that you bring your own supplies to avoid upset tummies. Treats and nice extras are also available if you are not on a strict dietary regime. We do ask that you have your fleas under control and vaccinations up to date please before visiting. Sorry we can't take naughty boys with all their bits - because Spud still has his . . . which also means no ladies in season either . . . unless you would like scruffy Jack Russell cross puppies . . .they would be cute though. I am insured and will be happy to show you my certificate - in return I will ask your hooman to sign a bit of paper so that I can travel you in my car and take you for walkies off lead if possible. Prices are per dog as the spaces are limited. The day care only (hours agreed between 10am to 5pm) rate is £15 and the holiday boarding rate per calendar day/night is £25 + bring your own food and a blanket if you’d like one. Drop off is an agreed time between 10am and 4pm and collection is an agreed time between 10am and 5pm. Early drop off to join us for walkies is at 7.30am sharp and can be arranged if you have stayed with us before.

Welcoming our latest guests! - New girl Luna the Fox Red Lab is settling in really well and enjoying playing with the handsome black Lab Scout, Bobbi the cheeky mini Cockerpoo and Pickle the Pickle. Waffles joined in a bit with the Callie game but the rest of mine were having none of it.

Dear little Daisy is having her first stay here at the Doggy Hotel. She is a shy girlie but is really starting to come out of her shell and relax now.

Also staying is Waffles special friend Poppy who has tragically lost her sight but who is absolutely amazing! She has been finding her way round and knows where she is. It helps she knows this place already of course but her confidence is wonderful. The other dogs are all being gentle with her too which is heart warming to watch.

Another lovely day to welcome new boy Alfie (the big black cockerpoo), Gracie (cockerpoo) back for another stay and Juno the Visla. Busy times! and yes, there are 3 Vislas staying! Now I've included pics of my dogs too this time because my old boy Spud loves the ladies, and, well to be honest anyone he thinks might be a lady, and is particularly partial to a ginger. Now my little Romeo is 17yo and the silly old fool is sooo loved up! Put a spring in his step I must say.
I put the paddling pool out as it's warm which Alf appreciated and I plonked Spud in to cool his ardour down a bit . . . .
