I cannot stress enough how vital it has been for us this year, with this continuous hot weather, to have shade (that this ancient woodland provides) for our dogs.

And not just for the dogs, for all animals who need to escape the heat and for children to have somewhere cool to play.

Mr. Green Eyes 💚

We've had the pleasure of looking after this boy for the past few summer's (is it 4/5? 🤔) The first year we looked after him he spent the whole time hiding!
He has since moved house and we have all grown older and this year he was super confident and even let's the girls make a fuss of him! They were chuffed 🥰

🌳 SAVE OAKEN WOOD 🌳

I have had the privilege of coming here over the last 4+ years with your dogs.

It has been an apprenticeship, exploring and learning this ancient woodland with your dog's.

We haven't even covered it all! But we have our favourite places to sniff, run and play.

I feel privileged to spend hours a week here rain or shine with your dogs while you're stuck in an office

This is our office, we come here, we respect it. We leave no trace, and I'll be damned if anyone tries to take it and turn it into a lifeless hole in the ground!
