🐾 Leo’s Market Mystery: Where Does Mum Go (and Why Does She Smell Like Paul?) 🐶

So here’s the deal.
Every so often, Mum vanishes for the day. Not on a walk. Not upstairs.
Gone. Off on a “Beerscuits market adventure,” apparently.

And she doesn’t even load the car. Oh no — she hops into someone else’s car that’s already full of biscuits.
Which makes it worse, frankly. She’s willingly leaving me... for a car that smells like treats I didn’t get to inspect.

And when she comes back? She smells of... Paul.
Yes, Paul. The business owner’s dog. The one who lives where the biscuits are actually baked. The one who gets first sniff of everything. 🙄

Paul probably watches the bags being packed, hears the rustle of paper, sees the sign that says “Healthy Dog Treats” and knows — this is his empire.
I, meanwhile, have to sniff secondhand scent on Mum’s trouser leg like some sidekick.

But here’s the thing…

📍 I saw a photo of her market stall today.
🎪 The banners were up. The table was full.
🍪 And my biscuits were out on display — proudly lined up, just as they should be.

And Mum? She was smiling.
Telling people about me. About the story behind Beerscuits. About healthy treats made from upcycled ingredients. About calm dogs. About second chances.

So yeah… I may not be the dog who goes to market.
I may not be Paul with the VIP kitchen pass.
But I am the heart behind the biscuits. And every sniff, every wag, every happy customer? That’s part of what Mum and I built — even if I supervise from afar.

Still not forgiving her entirely.
But I’ll accept bribes in biscuit form.
