🚨 DOG OWNERS – PLEASE READ 🚨

Hearing so much of this and not a lot to be done but keep eyes out 😭

There’s a nasty vomiting bug going around at the moment and vets are reporting a big spike in cases. It’s spreading quickly, so please take extra care with your pups. 💔🐾

⚠️ Advice from vets:

Avoid dog parks for now

Don’t let your dog drink puddle/outdoor water

Stop them sniffing 💩

Wipe paws after every walk (virus could be picked up outside)

🐶 What vets are seeing:

Severe vomiting (5+ times in 12 hours, may stop then start again)

Struggling to keep water down

Lethargy & loss of appetite for 2–5 days

Diarrhoea (often “gravy-like”)

Recovery usually takes 5–10 days

📍 Where it’s spreading: Midlands, Wales, North of England & Northern Ireland.
🧪 Thought to be viral (not Parvo or Salmonella).
👩‍⚕️ With prompt treatment, most dogs make a full recovery.

👉 If your dog shows symptoms, call your vet ASAP.

Surprise, our team is growing.🩷🎀

Some of you know, many of you don’t - we have a little baby girl arriving the 2nd week of November.🍼

‼️I plan to go off on Maternity Leave on Saturday 4th October. For most of you on 6 week schedules this means your Pup will only have 2 more Groom’s with me before I go off.‼️

Availability will also be reduced slightly in September as we will be phasing the Big Brother into School, before Baby Sister arrives!🥹

I strongly advise getting your next 2 appointments booked if you haven’t already done so!!

While I am off, Jolene .scruffytofluffy & Jill have offered to help out when they can. Jolene is based in Portadown and Jill is based in Craigavon a few days a week, so hopefully they will be handy for all of you!🐩🥰

All admin will be completed tonight/tomorrow, before I am back to Work on Thursday.

Would you like your dog groomed during their stay with us? We can now arrange grooming sessions with your regular groomer or one of our trusted local groomers, depending on availability. We’ll even handle pick-up and drop-off, so you don’t have to lift a paw!🐕🐕

Please note: This service is based on the groomer's diary, so advanced booking is highly recommended. Last-minute requests may not be possible – the earlier, the better!🐕
