Fun in the snow!

(That's my dog with the long line on, I need to point out that I would never normally attach a long line to a collar (risk of injury if used for recall training like that), but it's really hard to get her lead back on when it's cold because she's so hairy, the clip on her lead is small and fiddly and my hands don't work well in the cold! The long line is lighter than her usual lead so it doesn't get in the way when she's playing.)

Gorgeous Franki boy has gone home, and as sad as it is when he goes, cold and soggy me is looking forward to a hot bath! I must be the only mug who enjoys rainy dog walks. Thanks, Sophie, Izzy and Franki, today has been wet but lovely!

We've got another new friend this week. Sophie the cocker spaniel puppy is our latest daycare and walking buddy. No pictures due to technical difficulties (lost phone) but I'll get right on that ASAP! She's a real stunner.

It's been a week for black dogs, we have two new friends! Meet Izzy, a beautiful girl who is the only lab I've met who actively walks around puddles, and Franki, adorable and perfectly behaved cockapoo puppy. I love them both already!

I walked beautiful Lexi today. She's a bit worried by other dogs so we spent some time counter conditioning her, so every time she saw a dog she got a treat. She did so well!

Here she is demonstrating how pretty she is, and how waving a treat above the camera can backfire!!
