An Extremely Sad Day
It was an extremely sad day at the sanctuary yesterday. Unfortunately Whizz had developed a severe twist and had to be put to sleep. Whizz had been with us since January of 2020. He was a 29 year old section D who had come from a family who could unfortunately no longer care for him. We did find out more information about his previous life in recent months.

Pedicure day for the newbies. It was Jim the farrier day today at Horse Mist Horse Sanctuary for our latest arrivals Angel & Harry. They arrived a couple of weeks ago and have settled in well with the rest of the herd.

Hello Angel & Harry
This week we say a big Hello Angel & Harry, two new arrivals to join the gang.They arrived with us on Wednesday afternoon having traveled from mid Wales to be with us.Angel, the dinky one, is a 9 year old mare and has plenty of character about her. She can be very feisty when she needs to be, but otherwise has a very sweet temperament.

Rug Appeal
Hi, we are currently going through rugs (5' 6" & above) at a bit of a rate owing to new additions to the sanctuary.

We would be extremely grateful if any of you had any rugs that you felt you could donate to us for the horses?
