We’re really pleased to share that Sandy Paws is now proudly stocking Akela dog food; a brilliant local company based just down the road in Lowestoft.

We currently have their teaser treats, premium kibble and popular Pumpkin Digestive Aid in store, and we’re looking forward to expanding the range even further.

Akela’s dry and wet food is packed with benefits. It’s made using only high-quality ingredients, with no fillers, artificial colours or preservatives. It’s grain-free, nutritionally balanced, and formulated to support healthy digestion, skin, coat and joints. Their recipes are modelled on a dog’s natural diet, with up to 80% meat or fish content.

Despite offering such high standards and care in their production, Akela’s prices are still cheaper than many of the big-name premium brands, making it a great choice for owners who want the best without overspending.

We’re proud to offer Akela products on special order, too. So if you don’t see what you’re after on the shelf, we’ll be happy to get it in for you.

And the best part? Akela are one of the few brands that offer sample bags of their kibble; just £1 each. You can let your dog try a flavour before committing to a larger bag, which we can then order in the size you prefer.
