Please be aware and understand it's store policy that we see photo evidence of your enclosures, equipment and visual recorded temperatures before we let any exotic species leave our store. It is important to us that we know our exotics are going into the correct setups. We will not sell animals into enclosures that are too small, with incorrect lighting and heating, insufficient decoration and incorrect temperatures. We work on a 3-type based temperature system. Basking, Air and Night. We need photo evidence of this over a 24hour period as temperatures change, not only in our daily climate but in the enclosure too. We do this for the animals welfare and we stand firmly by this policy. It applies to all customers, new and existing, whether you're brand new to reptile keeping or overly experienced. It still applies whether you've bought an animal from us before or not. It applies whether you've bought the vivarium from us or bought it second hand. Second hand enclosures are notorious for being set up incorrectly and can be dangerous. All evidence we require needs to be presented to us and signed off before the animal leaves our care! Please do not be upset, disappointed or frustrated with us when our recommendations and adjustments need to be administered before the exotic leaves our store.
We are simply trying to help ensure that the occurrence of potential health complications by having the incorrect setup for the specific species you wish to purchase is avoided. Anyone that has the appropriate enclosure, equipment and equipment and is genuinely interested in providing the best possible for the animal they want, won't hesitate to abide by our rules and regulations. People genuinely interested in the welfare of an animal will take our advice and understand we're doing it all because we care for the health, happiness and longevity of our beloved exotic pets.
