It’s currently 21°C and expected to climb to 24–25°C this afternoon, which means today’s walks may be shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled.

Before anyone asks… yes, some dogs would happily run a marathon, chase 47 squirrels, and then sunbathe on a BBQ grill if given the chance. 🐶😂

Unfortunately, hot pavements, overheating, and heatstroke are very real risks, so I’m putting safety before zoomies today.

A good rule of thumb: if you can’t comfortably hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for paws! 🐾

With lots of lovely new faces here, I thought I’d paws for a quick introduction… 🐶

I’m Ashleigh, the human behind Oh My Dog 🐕💛 — professional dog walker, pet pop-in provider, treat giver and expert ball thrower 🎾😂

When I’m not living my best life with your furry friends, I work part-time in the ambulance service 🚑 and head home to my own little zoo:

🐶 Mabel the Cockapoo (CEO of chaos)
🐱 Martha the tabby (judges everyone)
🐹 Beano the hamster (tiny, but mighty)

💍 Married and mum to two boys 👦👦 aged 8 and 3, which means I’m regularly outnumbered, outsmarted, and surviving on snacks and caffeine. 😂

Thank you so much for all your patience while I’ve been away — I’m now back and slowly catching up on all messages and enquiries 💛

📅 June is now FULLY BOOKED

📩 July bookings will open from 1st June, availability is looking limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment, regular bookings get priority.

☀️ During August (school holidays), spaces are also extremely limited and advanced bookings are highly recommended.

A slightly different week here at Oh My Dog! 😅
A dodgy foot has meant I’ve had to press pause on dog walks to heal… not ideal when your whole personality is ‘out walking dogs’ 🐕🙈

BUT the good news is I’m still able to do drop-in visits! 🐾

Which means I’ve had the absolute pleasure of hanging out with this guy… Enzo ✨ a Maine C**n, a model, and quite frankly the main character in every room he enters.

So just a little reminder that Oh My Dog isn’t just about walkies—I’m here for your cats too 🐈🐈‍⬛
