Introducing Elm ❤️ we've been keeping a secret.... Behind the scenes for the last 10 weeks, Meg has been caring round the clock for a little pigeon she picked up near her house (elm drive hence her name) she had a severe neurological illness affecting balance & movement & is still showing after effects with her head being but trust me she is improving compared to how she was a few weeks back! Elm can now preen herself, drink for herself, begin to hold her head up & even peck about at seed if it's in a deep bowl. I received dna test results back last week confirming she was a girl so we are introducing her to Finn so he can have a pal.
Please give Elm some welcome love ❤️

My boy is home ❤️ I collected Clee from William Hales Taxidermy last Sunday after nearly one year! We have had a lovely response from people who have seen him. When Clee passed away suddenly last August I was beside myself I had never felt such a strong bond with a bird before, he had a piece of my heart. He was the life and soul of the shop, people would enjoy learning about pigeons and seeing him with my dog. He soon became well known not only in the town but all over the world being an advocate for pigeon welfare. I had to do something extra special to honour him and keep his legacy alive. Now he will be on show with his little plaque saying 'Clee, advocate for pigeon welfare and chief ankle biter'. Finn carries on the role of promoting pigeon love but I am so so lucky to have had Clee even if he was taken too soon he will never be forgotten. Thanks to everyone who has said such kind words this week it really means a lot ❤️

Poppies for wildlife 💜 I know it's early but I'm starting early to raise as much money as I can for several charities! I will be selling a mix of knitted and crochet poppies £2 each avaliable to purchase at Potty About Pets 8 Mercer Row

The charities I am supporting are:
Wild Things Rescue
Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue
FPC Poultry Rescue UK

For me these three charities go above and beyond to make a difference to animals lives no matter how big or small. Pigeons also played a huge role in the war efforts of the 1st and 2nd World War and you all know how much I adore pigeons! Without them we would not have the freedom we have today and they mean everything to me so I really hope we can raise lots of money for charities who help our wildlife ❤️
(ALL proceeds spilt equally between the three charities and each have a registered charity number should anyone wish to check)
I can accept cash or bank transfer as the total will be split into three and donated online to the charities. Thank you all for reading and your generosity is very much appreciated ❤️
