Yesterday was Geoff's last day with us.

His health had declined over the past few months, during which he became uncharacteristically defensive/aggressive.

A visit to the vet's confirmed that he was in pain and that he was untreatable. So, I made the decision to have him put to sleep.

He has been part of our lives for 16 years and helped to establish Meet The Beasts. He has helped so many to challenge their fears and overcome them and given so much joy along the way, often winning the most unlikely new friends.

Not easy to say, 'Goodbye' but he has earned his rest. ❤️

A Santa Bug?

One of our White Spotted Black Assassin Bugs immediately after Shedding its old exoskeleton. As the new skin hardens the red turns black.
