Just a final note to thank you all for your kind wishes, I would have carried on if I could but in the end it is not possible. Please give Rachel a chance at Medivet, she did train with us and learn how we work so hopefully it will not be too different for you. Be kind and have a happy life

If any of you are feeding Fold Hill Foods to your cats, (Sainsbury's, AVA and Applaws Hypoallergenic) there has been a recall due to possible links with a new disease. This causes major haemorrhage from a clotting defect and often death; the cause is still unclear but seems to be linked to the food. Please change to any other make for now till things are clearer. As ever, Dr Google has lots to say, but be aware, not all of it is factual.

If you have a problem that is urgent but not an emergency we will be checking our website messages once daily so you can send an enquiry and we will get back to you. During the coming lockdown we will be operating reduced hours and services. Reception will be manned and your calls will be answered. Routine medications will still be able to be collected, and emergencies and urgent cases will still be seen but some things will have to wait till December. Phone us if you are not certain what needs treatment, we may be able to decide from an emailed photo. Keep safe everyone 🙂

Re Corona virus; to all our clients, we are endeavouring to remain open as normal, but are going to stagger our appointments so that as few people as possible are in surgery together. We would ask you to notify us when you arrive and then wait in your car with your pet until we call you. Some of our clients are elderly and so at risk, and we are trying to protect them. Not to mention our staff!! If we are all careful, everything should be fine.🙂
