We always love to share the "good news" stories and pics when cats have found their new home.

Joshua and Keith were two “Billy-no-mates” until they found themselves unexpectedly thrown together in a Cats Protection pen.

Gradually, they decided that even if nobody else did, they liked each other (provided the other one wasn’t occupying a cat bed that they had their eye on!)

Here they are in their new forever home enjoying a meal together and then a siesta - where there are beds enough for all!

I love this pic as it sums up Rory and Mac. This adorable duo are only 5 months old and came into our care as they were an unexpected litter.

They are so ready to find their special home, share their kooky antics and spend time playing with you and their feathery toys.

Can you offer Pooky a home where she is the star attraction?

This wee girl much prefers human companionship to that of other cats and would like a home where she doesn't have to share the limelight....or her Dreamies...with anyone else!

We cant believe young Joshua is still waiting for his special home.

He is such a gentle-natured and loving little boy.

Joshua was found living rough in Lockerbie and he really appreciates food and the company of humans. He would make a wonderful companion.

Please click on the link for more info. This young man so deserves a loving home... is it yours?

Yesterday we featured Charlie and today is Rosie's turn.

As mentioned yesterday, we have had no interest in Rosie and Charlie being adopted as a pair during the 7 months they have been on our website. Due to this their carer has made the tough decision to rehome them separately.

Obviously if someone could offer them a home together that would be brilliant but we think this is a big ask.

Rosie loves being outdoors and patrolling her territory. However, she is also affectionate and wouldn't want to be left outside all the time. She likes her cuddles!

If you are interested in adopting Rosie please see more details on https://www.cats.org.uk/eskdale -57334

Charlie has been on our website for seven months with no interest. It is heartbreaking as he is a lovely affectionate boy who loves cuddles.

He is currently a Home2Home adoption, which may have put people off, but will be coming into Eskdale's care as his temporary owner is unable to look after him much longer.

In addition, the difficult decision has been taken to rehome him and his friend, Rosie, separately in the hope that more people can adopt a single cat instead of a pair.

Can you offer Charlie a much needed permanent home?

Some cats just find their perfect home and Boris is one of those very fortunate young men.
Boris (now called John-Boy) was living rough and kindly being fed by a neighbour. Unfortunately she was unable to take him in and after a few months turned to Eskdale CP for assistance.
When he came into the pens it was clear he was a "knee sitter" and he grabbed every opportunity when the carers were in with him!
John-Boy now has two sets of knees he can claim as his own and is in his element.
He has settled in beautifully and is a much loved addition to the family.
