🚨 Why Hydration is CRUCIAL for Your Cat’s Health 🐱💧
Most cats don’t drink enough water — and that can lead to serious health issues. Unlike dogs, cats have a low thirst drive and often don’t feel the need to drink, especially if they eat mostly dry food.

🔍 Here’s why it matters:
Cats on dry food get only about 10% moisture, while their bodies need 60–70%. This lack of hydration can cause:
➡️ Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
➡️ Kidney disease
➡️ Bladder stones or crystals
➡️ Constipation

🩺 Signs your cat might be dehydrated:
Lethargy or low energy
Dry or sticky gums
Sunken eyes
Reduced skin elasticity (the “skin tent” test)

💡 Tips to help your cat stay hydrated:
✅ Switch to or supplement with wet/canned food
✅ Use a water fountain — cats love running water!
✅ Place several water bowls in quiet areas
