🚰🐾 Why a Urine Sample Matters for Your Pet’s Health 🐾🚰

Did you know that something as simple as a urine sample can give us big clues about your pet’s health?

A urinalysis helps us check for:
✅ Kidney function – how well your pet’s kidneys are working.
✅ Bladder health – signs of infections, crystals, or stones.
✅ Diabetes – sugar or ketones in the urine can be early indicators.
✅ Hydration levels – tells us if your pet is drinking enough or too much.
✅ Other systemic issues – sometimes urine changes reveal problems elsewhere in the body.

Because pets can’t tell us when something feels "off," urine samples are a quick, non-invasive way to catch problems early, often before they cause serious symptoms.

💡 Pro tip: If your vet asks for a urine sample, try collecting a fresh one first thing in the morning and bringing it in. Morning samples are often the most concentrated and give us the clearest picture of your pet’s health.
