Big news folks!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow we will be open again.
Not at full capacity, parts will still be closed off, but as for most things we are back to being open.

Our team of very few have worked day and night in 8 days to try and get back to a state where we can trade.

There's still thousands of pounds of work that needs doing, but this requires contractors to complete work, something we can't do. However we have done everything in our power.

Soooooo please come and spend your pennies, we have not only fresh live and frozen food, but as always the cheapest in Staffordshire !!!!

Just wanted to say a massive thanks for the likes and lovely comments from people. The positivity is what's keeping us going and powering us to work day and into the night ( literally )

Alot have reached out and asked if we need help anything and about donations.
Personally they are great when its for rescues, but on this occasion we are hopeful that our insurance will sort it all out for us. So don't want to take peoples money for something we hope to get back.

However in the short term to help with cash flow for materials we are offering a competition raffle . We feel offering something back to you via a chance to win feels much better.

The 2 prizes are a venomous snake evening where over 2 hours we will show you a vast range of snakes .

The second is an evening with meerkats and foxes.

Just a reminder to people.
We are currently closed. You may have seen on Facebook, however we are getting loads of people ringing up asking why aren't we open or why can't we come out rescue a fox or a bird or such.

On Tuesday morning in thr Early hours there was a building set on fire 3 properties down from our centre. It spread quick and fast.
All building we had already reported to the council about our own concerns about this happening , but they were ignored.

Anyway thankfully the fire service managed to stop it before it reached our property.
Alot of people can't understand why we aren't open if the fire never hit us.
Unfortunately putting out roof fires caused lots of debris to fall into our animal enclosures and to get closer to the fire it caused damage to our outside enclosures. These are beyond repair and along with the fallen in roof, we have had to remove all of this and start over.

We are hopeful that our insurance company will be able to sort it out long term while we struggle short term.

We really hope we don't loose customers, as now more than ever we need money, we are trying to get back to being open as fast as we can.

But just wanted people to understand the reason we aren't open yet. Sorry there's no jokes in my post this time, 24 hours after our big open day, this happens.....thankful we still have our centre, but just struggling at the minute mentally

A massive thank you to everyone who's messaged with concerns.

The fire wasn't our property, it was 3 doors down that spread to each building next to it.
Thankfully the fire service managed to stop it before it got to ours.

Sadly as is the case with this type of stuff, the fire service did unfortunately have to break into our courtyard where we have the animals , this sadly destroyed all our aviaries, the fire off the roof next door had to be put out and this caused much of the roof debris to collapse and fall into our animal pens, we were able to secure them first.

However we now need to start rebuilding alot of our enclosures.
This is time and money.
It does mean we will be closed until further notice, I cannot tell you how long that will be .

Its heart breaking when only 2 days ago we were on a high from our big open day... now this has completely destroyed us.

However our animals are safe.
