🚂✨ We’re off to the Chipping Steam Fair! ✨🚂

Just a little heads up that the shop will be closing early on Saturday 23rd May at 1pm — but that’s because we’ll be busy setting up for a fantastic weekend at the Chipping Steam Fair! 🎉

You can find us in the Artisan Market area all weekend long, including Bank Holiday Monday. Come along for a great day out filled with steam engines, shopping, food, entertainment, and plenty to see and do for the whole family!

Make sure to pop by our stall and say hello 👋 We’d love to see some familiar faces and meet lots of new ones too! 😊

🐾❤️ National Dog Rescue Day at Tails of the Town Petshop ❤️🐾

Today we’re celebrating the amazing rescue dogs who have found their forever homes — and the incredible people who opened their hearts to them 🐶

Every rescue dog has a story, and every wagging tail is proof that second chances can change lives. Whether your best friend is a rescue, a pampered pooch, or still waiting for their perfect family, we think every dog deserves love, care, treats, and lots of belly rubs 🦴✨

Pop into Tails of the Town Petshop for tasty treats, toys, and goodies your four-legged best friend will love!

📢 Early Closing This Saturday

This Saturday we’ll be closing at 1:30pm as we take some time for self-care and to support an important cause 💚

In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’ll be heading to an afternoon tea at Longridge Civic Hall ☕🍰 to help raise funds for the amazing work of Preston Samaritans.

We appreciate your understanding and support – mental health matters for everyone 🐾💛

At Tails of the Town, we know our pets are more than just animals… they’re family, comfort, and sometimes our best therapists 🐾

Whether it’s a wagging tail after a tough day, a cuddle when you need it most, or a reason to get outside for a walk — our furry friends do so much for our wellbeing.

This month is a gentle reminder to take care of yourself too. Step outside, take a breather, talk to someone, and don’t forget… it’s okay to not be okay.
