He's come a long way... Hildaland Hercules at a couple of weeks old and yesterday (courtesy of Rattray Shorthorns) coming out after a summer working ❤️ always had fantastic eyebrows 😁

I haven't posted on here for quite a while as I thought it best to let the page go however I have noticed recently (particularly through show season) that we have been gathering new likes. Here are a few highlights from shows this year - if anyone else has shown any of the Hildaland herd or any offspring we would be delighted to hear about it ❤️

Look at this beauty TRAINVIEW MATTHEW. M is the year letter for Shorthorns this year, If it isn't too cheeky please could I ask our 'Shorthorn family' to name a bull calf Matthew in memory of my special husband if they feel able, this is an amazing tribute to an amazing man. I expect great things from this little chap!!!

Dispersal of Hildaland Shorthorn Herd belonging to the late Matthew Budge, Longhope on Thursday 19 October 2017.
The herd is clear of BVD and their next test will be done before the sale.
The herd has not been BVD vaccinated. The herd has no Johne's status.
The cows will be PD'd prior to sale.

It has been a very difficult decision to action, however, the Hildaland Shorthorn Herd will be sold at Orkney Auction Mart on Thursday 19th October 2017.

I had the classifier here today and the oldest cow Glenisla Margo A518 scored very good at EX93. She's 10 years old. Her 2 daughters that were eligible for grading VG85 and VG88. And a daughter and a niece coming in to the herd next year.
