Our doors are open to visitors 11-4 daily. Please see Additional Information before planning your visit We stock our shelves with cat litter, cat food, cat care goods and Cats Protection merchandise. Similarly our Bric-a-Brac shed is open daily for shoppers and donors of second-hand goods. Our reception and cat care staff will always do their best to offer face to face advice and assistance. Match
ing cats and homes appropriately is important to us. Our aim is to find cats homes that they can remain in. Our preferred method of homing, and the one that works best for our cats, is for prospective adopters to read about our cats online and register an interest in cats that suit their needs. We can then follow this with appropriate cat matching conversations and viewing appointments. Those who wish to visit us on site can, on arrival, expect a cat matching conversation with one of our cat care assistants. If we have suitable cats available they will then be invited to spend some time with them. We no longer open our pens for casual cat viewing. We’ve found our cats have been much more relaxed, healthier and happier with less disturbance. We can however in most instances give casual visitors a little walk round the centre and an overview of our work. We can only accept cats into our care by prearranged appointment. Our centre is very busy and we can not afford to leave pen space empty, therefore we can not routinely cater for surprise arrivals. We have no veterinary facilities on site, sick or injured emergencies are best taken to your local veterinary surgery.
