Central Norfolk Cat Centre

Central Norfolk Cat Centre Welcome to the Cats Protection Central Norfolk Cat Centre. We are a friendly centre. Homing approximately 400-500 cats annually. We are open for reception sales.
(256)

Our doors are open to visitors 11-4 daily. Please see Additional Information before planning your visit We stock our shelves with cat litter, cat food, cat care goods and Cats Protection merchandise. Similarly our Bric-a-Brac shed is open daily for shoppers and donors of second-hand goods. Our reception and cat care staff will always do their best to offer face to face advice and assistance. Match

ing cats and homes appropriately is important to us. Our aim is to find cats homes that they can remain in. Our preferred method of homing, and the one that works best for our cats, is for prospective adopters to read about our cats online and register an interest in cats that suit their needs. We can then follow this with appropriate cat matching conversations and viewing appointments. Those who wish to visit us on site can, on arrival, expect a cat matching conversation with one of our cat care assistants. If we have suitable cats available they will then be invited to spend some time with them. We no longer open our pens for casual cat viewing. We’ve found our cats have been much more relaxed, healthier and happier with less disturbance. We can however in most instances give casual visitors a little walk round the centre and an overview of our work. We can only accept cats into our care by prearranged appointment. Our centre is very busy and we can not afford to leave pen space empty, therefore we can not routinely cater for surprise arrivals. We have no veterinary facilities on site, sick or injured emergencies are best taken to your local veterinary surgery.

😺URGENT RELOCATION NEEDED FOR OUTDOORSY CAT 😺
FUDGE - This lovely lady is looking for a safe free roaming home where she can hunt until her hearts content she is healthy, approx. 6yrs old & neutered. Unfortunately she has lost her wonderful carer that loved her dearly. Although she's a hands off lady she doesn't stray far, all she requires is a suitable place for her to dwell until she is settled, to then start her new free range life. The ideal would be a yard, stable setting or outhouse that is warm in winter/ cool in summer. if you could possibly offer her a permanent working home, Please feel free to call the centre on 01366 382 311 or email

🐾 Meet Blaze – Our Cat of the Week! 🐾

Say hello to Blaze, a sweet and soulful boy who’s tugging at all our heartstrings 💔. Blaze hasn’t been with us long, but he’s already made it clear: he’s ready for love and a forever home.

This chatty lad is full of personality and definitely not shy about asking for attention. He’ll meow his little heart out just to be near someone and honestly, hearing him cry for companionship is breaking our hearts 💔.

Blaze recently lost his closest family member, and he’s been navigating a lot of emotions. Despite the sadness, he’s still hopeful and affectionate, just waiting for someone to show him that brighter days are ahead 🌈.

If you think you could be Blaze’s hero, please visit his profile on our website and apply to adopt. Even if you can’t take him home, sharing this post could help him find the love he deserves 🏡💕

Thankyou to all those that attended and supported our Fete on Saturday, it was such a fun day!
We held a joint event along with Longham village for the first time, raising £529 for the cats, and with the village taking £423 to go towards the up keep of the hall.
Unfortunately we were so busy we hardly took any photographs (and none inside the hall) if you have any we'd love to see them please!
Thanks all 😺
