A happy 'tail' ending!

This is the beautiful Elsie. Her owners had been coming to me for years with their previous golden retriever who sadly passed away over a year ago. They decided to rescue another G/R. Sadly this dear soul had only ever known a life in a cage as she had been used for breeding and it was the same story for her sister. I will just say at this point... (Both sisters were rescued).

When Elsie first came to me a year ago her coat was thin, coarse and she had a number of bald patches...not surprising given how she was treated.

After a number of grooms and months of nutritious food and lots of love and affection from her owners I can tell you that it's now a very different story.

Elsie started to relax in the salon she lapped up the bathing/drying and cuddles. Infact she laps up every minute she's with us.

A year on and all that's she's been through she's just the sweetest gentle and trusting little girl.

This is the darling Elsie today and 'yes' she's wearing one of Little Bow-Chic bows!

Elsie is and will always be to us all a very special girl.

We finally decided to take a break and recharge our batteries after what has been a difficult 2 years. Consequently the salon will be closed until Monday 15th July... I will respond to all messages on my return.

A new dog paddock has recently opened in Trottiscliffe which I visited today. You can book 1/2 slots for £5 or £10 for an hour. I have to say I found it quite tranquil and very peaceful. Juliet (the owner) is still doing some works there but there is water and p**p bags available. For more details and to book you can click on the link below
