This morning he enjoyed a lovely walk with our nurse, Leanne, soaking up the fresh air, all the sniffs, and plenty of attention along the way 🥰

🐾 HOME WANTED FOR SOCKS 🐾

Meet Socks, a beautiful 1-year-old collie currently recovering with us at Vets for Pets Crescent Link after unfortunately needing a hind leg amputation following an accident. ❤️

Despite everything he’s been through, Socks is recovering incredibly well and adapting brilliantly to life on three legs. He’s a young, intelligent and active working breed who still has so much love, energy and personality to give.

We are now beginning the search for a very special forever home that can meet both his mental and physical needs — ideally someone with collie experience or experience with working breeds.

As Socks is still very young, he will need an owner with time, patience and commitment to continue his training and help him thrive. Most importantly, we’re looking for a home where he will truly be part of the family. 🏡
