Hi everyone, I am taking part in this Sponsored Hike up Mount Errigal on Sun 31st Aug in aid of The Underdogs NI. They do a great job and like all other rescues at the minute they have huge vets bills and a lot of animals in foster homes and they need help!
We rescued our pup from them back in February 😊 Nando is an absolute eejit who we love to bits ❤️

Our Doggy Sponsored Walk is Back! 😁🐾

We’re so excited to announce that our annual Doggy Sponsored Walk is coming up again, and we’d love you and your furry friends to join us!

Date:Saturday 14th June 2025
Time: 10:30AM
Meeting Point: Peace Bridge (Ebrington Square side)
Donation: £5 (includes entry into our raffle)

We’ll be walking from the Peace Bridge over towards Craigavon Bridge, past the train station, and back to our meeting point.

On the day, we’ll have:
🎨 Face painting
🧁 Tea, buns & treats
🎟️ Raffles
🐾 A special visit from Paw Patrol!

There’ll be spot prizes for the dogs, and we’re buzzing to say Snappet Pet Furtography will also be there to capture all the fun on the day!

All money raised will go to The Underdogs NI, helping save and rehome dogs in need.

Hi everyone! So sorry i haven't updated in so long! I hope you all had the best Christmas and New Year and all your wee doggies are keeping well! 💗
Ella wasn't doing very well and ended up in and out of the Royal from the 23rd Oct last year. We were in for a total of 6wks but luckily got home a few days before Christmas so we didn't have to spend a 2nd Christmas in hospital thank goodness!! While we were in they did her Gastrostomy Surgery so she is now fed directly into her tummy. The waiting list for this can be a couple of years but she was so sick and her Kidney function was deteriorating too quickly so they had to do it straight away. Since then she has been doing great and finally putting on weight at a speed they are happy with. She is happy, never sits still and can roll around the house at super speed 🤣 She has no interest in her toys because even at 15months we can very clearly see that her passion is animals 🐾💗 She adores our pets and spends her days rolling over to them and hugging them or making us carry her around following them so maybe i'll have a wee apprentice some day 🥰
As always i miss my job and my furry customers so much! Unfortunately as we have nobody we can leave Ella with during the day, i am still unable to return to work just yet but please know that it is still 100% my plan and as soon as we can get something sorted i will be back.

Please everyone keep your pets safe tomorrow!! 🐾💗 Don't forget about any wee Rabbits in Hutches as well 🐰 Always check gates and fences for damage as well, incase there's somewhere your dogs could escape from when out at the toilet.

So sad today to hear that one of my wee long term customers Pixie passed away at the weekend 💔 I have been off work over a year now and sadly i've heard of a few of my wee furry customers that are no longer with us. This breaks my heart that i didn't get to see them again in the salon 😔
Missing my job a lot and still hoping to get back some day 🤞 Ella is doing ok. It's hard work and she now needs fed with an ng tube but she is the happiest wee doll and we just adore her 🥰 It''s her 1st Birthday on Saturday and we're all very excited! 🎉
Give all your wee doggos a big hug from me tonight and tell them i miss them and hope to see their wee furry faces again some day 💗🐾

Hi everyone! Just a wee update to let you all know our wee Ella is doing well. It has been very difficult since she's been home but the last couple of weeks she has been doing a lot better and has finally started gaining a bit of weight. She's such a happy wee doll 💗
I have to say that even though I wouldn't be anywhere else other than with my baby girl giving her the care she needs, I am still really missing my work and all my wee furry cutomers 💔 It breaks my heart everytime I get a text from one of my regulars asking if I'm back at work yet and I have to say no and that I don't know when I will be 😔 But at least the last couple of weeks has shown us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It won't always be so hard and she will get bigger and stronger 💗
I'm just so grateful to have the customers I did as you have all been so understanding and supportive ☺ Would LOVE to see some piks of my wee furry friends so pop one in the comments if you have a minute ⬇️😃

💗 Update 💗
After 3months and 3days in Hospital, Ella finally got home on 16th March 😊 We are still up and down to the Royal and Altnagelvin for regular check ups but hopefully we can now keep hospital stays to a minium! It has been amazing having her home, we are so happy our family is back together again and her 2 brothers adore her 🥰
It has however been a bit of a shock to the system having her home, it is taking us a while to get used to our new way of life. She is on a lot of medication throughout the day and we hook her up to her treatment every night for 12hrs. We didn't appreciate just how full on it would be and unfortunately this means i won't be able to return to work any time soon 💔 Realising this has been and still is very difficult for me. I love my job and i love my customers. I have been going now for 10yrs and my wee business is so important to me. I never expected any of this but my baby girl needs me and so do my boys.
I WILL REOPEN! Just at this moment in time i don't know when that will be but i know it won't be any time this year. I really hope all my wee furry customers are keeping well, i miss them all 💗 Thank you all for your support, Alison 🐾✂️💗

🐾 Update 🐾
Hi everyone, just thought i'd give you all a wee update. So Ella is still in the Royal Children's Hospital since 13th Dec. She generally responds well to her treatment but the last 4/5wks she has had COVID then Norovirus and now the Flu which has set her back a bit so we have no idea yet when we will be getting home 🤦‍♀️
We are exhausted and hate that our family have been separated for so long but we are just glad there is a treatment for her and hopefully she won't get anymore sicknesses after this Flu and we can get her back on track.
We have started our training for us to be able to do her treatment at home so that we're ready to rock as soon as she is 😊
I still have no idea when i will be back at work 🤦‍♀️ All i can say is that I WILL DEFINITELY be back at some point but at the minute we just have to focus on getting her home and then when she is home we need to get settled in our new routine.
I hope all my wee furry clients are keeping well, I miss them all 💗🐾
