Happy Hounds is closed tomorrow 20th December for a family funeral

All appointments before Christmas are fully booked. I reopen on 29th and 30th then closed again until the 5th January

Hey there after much deliberation and putting off the inevitable I’m sorry to have to let you know that I can no longer do certain breeds and sizes of dogs due to health conditions related to my age and bone health. I’m developing arthritis much sooner in my joints and I have bone calcification also. This means after grooming certain dogs I am in pain and discomfort for multiple days.
The joys of getting older 😩
Don’t panic just yet as this only affects heavy coated, long haired larger breeds. I will be in touch if I believe I can no longer groom your dog or will confirm at time of booking. Thankyou all for your continued support and I hope to still be grooming for many years to come albeit slightly smaller and more manageable breeds.

Good morning everyone, Happy Hounds has resumed normal working hours/days etc.
just a heads up there will be price increases as of the 1st September due to rising costs which unfortunately are out of my control. However I will try my best to keep increases to a minimum. Thankyou and hopefully see you all soon 🐾🐾
