October half term (2 weeks, starting Oct 20th) is just ahead - and ERS & Gallivanter are open for adventure, beside Ealing Common with easy access from Chiswick, Richmond, Ealing and Acton areas.
A choice of 4 Camps, in a safe walled site, await the horsey and non -horsey 4.5-14 year old.
All about learning new skills, enjoying off screen purpose & tasks, and making new friends (animal and human!)
All Camps run 10am - 4 pm (with 9 am optional drop-off for each). Car park/ cycle stable on site, and Ealing Common tube (district and piccadilly lines) 5 mins walk. The multi-acre all weather site has warm barn, covered yards. clubhouse and lecture room areas.
The 4 camps:-
Gallivanter Meadow Camp 4 1/2 -14 years. 3 day Tu Wed Thurs, 10-4 pm, with option to ride, plus wood mountain ski-ing, carpentry & craft and forest school activities in own wigwam village. For the active and curious. One day pass also available.

Pony Day, 10 am - 4 pm, Tu + Thurs, all day riding and in the stables caring for ponies. 5+ Tues and Thurs. For pony loving -novices upwards. Week-long Pony weeks also available.

New Autumn Term for Adult Students at ERS. Book an assessment 5th - 13th September if you are a current student. 4 levels of attainment - Basic, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.

For new joiners-
If you are looking to return to/ take up horse-riding or seek horse connection, book one Get Ready to Ride gateway session, Fridays at 2 pm; Saturdays at 4 pm.
You will then be placed in a riding stream or a horsemanship connection stream.

Why horse-riding? Not just the adrenaline and drive, also the quiet connection and rhythmn of working in tune with a beautiful animal. Plus physical fitness and mental balance. And new friendships with like-minded people.

For an informal chat or come-see, do drop in to the ERS Summer Show this Sunday (30th August 9am-4 pm) to find out about costs (Term multi-packs available), how long it takes and T&C's. All will be most welcome.

Student New Term starts 5th September! Current youngsters should book in 5th - 13th for assessment & placement for the new term. You will be stronger, fitter and braver than last year!
5 levels & promotion badges for children from Start to Ride to Advanced, weekdays and weekends. Plus Friday Pony Clubs
New Joiners welcome with no entry cost.
Why take up horse-riding for children? Confidence, good friendships, skills, off screen connection & communication, the outdoors, and the grounded mental health that working (and playing) with horses & ponies give.
If you wish to know more, do drop in to the ERS this Sunday Summer Show (30 August 9am - 4 pm), observe and chat to our Staff who will be there to greet you and discuss costs (term multi-packages reduce fees), what to wear and what to expect when you learn to horse-ride.

The Gallivanter Meadow, a Swedish-style animal forest camp (no horses!) is now running weekly through to Friday 5th Sept with the big 3 day camp (Tues, Wedn, Thurs) and One Day bookable Meadow Camp (Tu- Friday).
10am - 4pm with optional 9 am drop off for working parents, and Wedn pm riding.
From 4 1/2 to 13 years, with nature science microscoping & lasers, arts & crafts, wood whittling & sculpting and animal day.
All in a fresh semi-outdoor walled 5 acre space, 6 mins walk from Ealing Common tube on the Chiswick/ Acton/ Ealing boundaries.

Tomorrow at 1 pm (Thursday 6th) a few Ealing Riding School ponies will be leaving the stable site to go a few metres up to the south-west side of Ealing Common to meet their public for the weekly Peek-at Ponies! Do come down to say hello. If you miss us tomorrow, we will be there again 1pm on Thursday 20th August.

29 nationalities rode/ connected with horses with us last year and we are proud to be part of that horse-loving global village.
English language can be a barrier for some (some of them brilliant riders, some missing their home horse connection) so, by request, we are running 2 courses this summer, starting July 21 and August 18, run by a T.E.F.L trained senior BHS Coach to aid Equestrian English Language.
