We have more than 70 well-trained horses and ponies suitable for all ages and all levels of riding, and a great team of experienced, qualified Riding Instructors who are always friendly and professional throughout your horse riding experience. Stag Lodge Stables operates from two well-equipped sites – the ‘original’ Stag Lodge at the Robin Hood Gate entrance to Richmond Park, and Stag Lodge 2, a purpose-built, multi-stable, multi-arena 11-acre site just half a mile down the road adjacent to the A3 for easy access. With Stag Lodge being so uniquely located there is no roadwork leading us into beautiful open countryside so you can be horse riding in Richmond Park or horse riding on Wimbledon Common within seconds of leaving the stables. We cater for all age ranges and all levels of ability, so whether you simply fancy a hack around Richmond Park, a summer evening Pub Ride, a gentle wander on a Shetland pony for your little one or a full course to take you to competition standard, here at Stag Lodge Stables you can achieve your goal. As well as plenty of opportunity for horse riding in London, we are also one of the largest Pony Club Centres in the country, perfect for budding equestrians to immerse themselves in the equine world.
