6️⃣ Insurance – Activate at least 2 weeks before travel.
7️⃣ Microchip Registration – On the travel day, register your cat’s microchip (UK: Petlog or Animal Tracker).

💔🌈 OUR BEAUTIFUL COCO HAS GAINED HER ANGEL WINGS - AND OUR HEARTS ARE SHATTERED 🌈💔

We never imagined we would have to write these words so soon.

Our precious Coco has passed away. 😭💔

We apologise for not sharing this heartbreaking news sooner. We needed time to grieve, to process what happened, and somehow find the strength to carry on caring for the other animals who still depend on us.

Many of you have followed Coco's journey since she was rescued from the streets of Dubai, starving, frightened, and covered in glue. Her little body had endured unimaginable cruelty, yet she remained such a gentle soul.

We will never know whether Coco was born on the streets or abandoned by someone. But one thing was certain - she never belonged there. 💔

After everything she survived, including going missing and being found again, we hoped she would finally have the peaceful life she deserved.

Sadly, Coco was diagnosed with Cushing's disease, an extremely rare and serious condition in cats. Her illness meant she could no longer travel, and with no local adopter coming forward, she became one of our long-term rescue residents.

🤍 And she finally had somewhere to call home.

Coco wasn't a particularly cuddly cat. She was quiet, gentle, and loved having her own space.

She had her little cot, her favourite corner, and her little toys. She would curl up peacefully, enjoying the comfort of knowing nobody would disturb her.

She never asked for much. Just peace, safety, and a little love.

And we gave her everything we could. ❤️

💔 HER FINAL BATTLE

As her illness progressed, Coco became increasingly weak. She struggled to walk and eventually stopped eating and drinking properly.

Our vets worked tirelessly to stabilise her, hoping she could regain enough strength for surgery. Unfortunately, the procedure was extremely risky, particularly in her fragile condition.

There were small moments of hope. She started accepting a little food again, and just recently, we shared that beautiful photograph of her sleeping so deeply and peacefully in her little bed.

We had no idea that our time with her was running out. 😭

Today, Coco's condition deteriorated dramatically.

When Soua'd went to see her, she was barely responsive, and her body temperature had dropped dangerously low.

She was immediately placed under veterinary care.

Soua'd held her in her arms, cuddled her, stroked her little face, and kissed her repeatedly.

Coco had never been one for cuddles, but in those precious moments, all we wanted was for her to feel safe and loved.

Soua'd eventually had to leave briefly to prepare for work. Rescue expenses had become overwhelming, with veterinary bills and food being paid for on credit cards, and she had finally secured one day of much-needed work.

Then came the devastating message from the vet.

Our beautiful Coco was gone. 💔

Soua'd immediately returned to the clinic to see her, hold her, and kiss her one final time.

😭 WE ARE SO SORRY, SWEET COCO.

We are sorry that life was so cruel to you.

We are sorry that you spent so many years fighting just to survive.

And we are heartbroken that when you finally found safety, your little body couldn't fight any longer.

But we hope you knew how deeply you were loved.

You were never just another rescue.

You were our little girl. Our family. 🤍

To everyone who donated, shared her story, prayed for her, or simply cared about her - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

You helped us give Coco something she may never have experienced before: a safe place, kindness, and unconditional love.

Please give us a little time to mourn this beautiful soul. Her loss has absolutely devastated us.

❤️‍🩹🐾 EFE UPDATE - A LITTLE SETBACK, BUT OUR BRAVE BOY IS GETTING BACK ON TRACK! 🥹❤️

Firstly, we're so sorry for the delayed update on our precious Efe. ❤️

Things have been incredibly hectic behind the scenes, with so many rescue cases requiring urgent attention, but we wanted to share how our sweet boy has been doing.

Efe had been recovering really well, and we were so pleased with his progress. Unfortunately, we then experienced a little setback when his wound reopened, which was incredibly upsetting after everything he had already been through. 💔

Thankfully, we are slowly getting back on track again! 🙏🏻❤️

The veterinary team has thoroughly cleaned and examined his wound, and Efe has also undergone further testing, which thankfully came back NEGATIVE! 🙏🏻🥹 Such a relief!

❤️‍🩹 He has also received laser treatment to help stimulate the healing process and encourage his wound to recover more quickly.

His wound now requires additional care and close monitoring to make sure everything heals properly this time.

Our rescuer, Soua'd, has also been instructed to help with:

🐾 Carefully clean the affected area several times a day.

🐾 Regularly apply a prescribed healing cream herself to support his recovery.

🐾 Closely monitor the wound for any signs of infection, discharge, oozing or further complications.

🐾 Ensure his progress is reassessed by the veterinary team next week.

Thankfully, Soua'd already had the prescribed cream available, which meant one less expense to worry about. ❤️

It is quite a demanding recovery process, requiring regular attention and careful monitoring, especially with everything else Soua'd has on her shoulders caring for so many rescue animals. 💔

Despite this little setback, Efe is doing really well, considering everything he has been through. He is such an incredibly brave, gentle and sweet boy, and we are so proud of him. 🥹💕

He remains under veterinary care, and we are keeping everything crossed that his wound continues healing properly this time, without any further complications. 🙏🏻

💔 BUT WE STILL DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP…

Every unexpected complication means additional veterinary treatments, monitoring and expenses, and our rescue is already struggling under the weight of ongoing medical bills.

With so many cats depending on us, even the smallest contribution genuinely makes a difference.

And what makes us particularly sad is that Efe is STILL waiting for someone to offer him a loving FOREVER HOME! 😞💔

We simply don't have a suitable place available for him once he is ready to leave veterinary care, and this is becoming an increasingly worrying situation.

This beautiful boy has already fought so incredibly hard to survive. He deserves so much more than a life filled with veterinary treatments, recovery cages and uncertainty.

He deserves a loving family, comfort, safety and a forever home where he will be cherished for the rest of his life. 🥹❤️

💔🐾 COCO IS UNWELL AGAIN…JUST WHEN WE THOUGHT SHE WAS GETTING BETTER! 😭❤️‍🩹

Our precious Coco is struggling again, and we desperately need your help. 💔

After her previous veterinary appointment, Coco seemed to be improving, and we were so relieved.

Unfortunately, that improvement didn't last. 😢

She's losing weight, becoming dehydrated and struggling with her appetite. Soua’d has had to take her back to the veterinary clinic.

💔 FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T MET COCO…

Our beautiful girl suffers from CUSHING'S DISEASE, an extremely rare hormonal condition in cats.

Cushing's disease occurs when the body produces excessive amounts of cortisol, a hormone that helps regulate many important functions.

It can cause serious health complications, including muscle weakness, weight changes, fragile skin and an increased risk of infections.

Managing this condition can be incredibly challenging, and seeing Coco deteriorate again after showing improvement is heartbreaking. 😭💔

❤️‍🩹 HER LATEST VETERINARY APPOINTMENT

The veterinarian explained that further tests could be carried out, but they were unlikely to change the immediate approach, which is focused on stabilising her condition.

Coco received injections to support her stomach, alongside vitamin B, in the hope of encouraging her to start eating again.

We're desperately hoping she'll respond positively to this supportive treatment. 🙏🏻❤️

🥣 COCO URGENTLY NEEDS HYDRA CARE!

Soua’d has also had to purchase Purina Pro Plan Hydra Care, a veterinary hydration supplement for cats.

With Coco losing weight, becoming dehydrated and struggling to eat, maintaining her hydration is especially important.

Hydra Care can help support her fluid intake, although it doesn't treat the underlying Cushing's disease.

💔 WE'RE COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED…

We know there's so much happening lately.

Ollie and Oliver have just undergone dental surgery, we have outstanding veterinary bills, other sick rescues needing treatment, and countless cats depending on us for food and everyday care.

And now Coco is unwell again. 😭

Soua’d is doing absolutely everything she can, but financially, we're struggling desperately.

Her personal credit card is already maxed out from rescue expenses, and the veterinary costs keep coming.

💔🐾 OLLIE & OLIVER - THEIR DENTAL SURGERY BILL HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! 😭🦷❤️‍🩹

Our precious boys have now had SEVEN teeth extracted between them, and we've finally received their veterinary invoice.

As promised, we're sharing it with you for complete transparency. ❤️

🩵 OLLIE - 5 TEETH EXTRACTED!
🧡 OLIVER - 2 TEETH EXTRACTED!

We've also received some close-up photos of their mouths following surgery, and as you can see, both boys are looking rather sore. 🥺💔

Especially poor Ollie, who had five teeth removed and quite a few stitches!

Thankfully, they're now recovering at home, and we're hopeful their little mouths will heal nicely over the coming days. ❤️‍🩹

For now, they MUST remain on wet food while their stitches heal. Once the veterinarian confirms it's safe, they'll finally be able to enjoy their dry food again! 🥹🐾

💔🐾 OLLIE & OLIVER - 7 TEETH EXTRACTED! WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP! 😭❤️‍🩹

Our precious boys have both undergone much-needed dental surgery, and thankfully, they're now back home recovering. ❤️

And just look at these two! 🥹 Oliver was cuddling Ollie inside their carrier on the way to the vet, and they were still snuggled together afterwards. 😭💕

🩵 OLLIE - 5 TEETH EXTRACTED!

Unfortunately, Ollie's teeth were in extremely poor condition, and FIVE had to be removed. One tooth even had FOUR roots instead of the usual two!

Our poor boy now has several stitches inside his mouth, making his recovery particularly delicate.

The vet has strictly warned that he MUST NOT eat dry food, as this could reopen his stitches and require another procedure to close the wounds again. 😢💔

🧡 OLIVER - 2 TEETH EXTRACTED!

Our beautiful Oliver also had TWO teeth removed and needs careful aftercare while his mouth heals.

Both boys have been prescribed veterinary mouthwash and anti-inflammatory pain relief for the next four days.

Unfortunately, Oliver is already trying to steal dry food from Romeo's cage! 😩

He's even attempting to push the biscuits out so he can eat them!

🥣 URGENT - WE NEED WET FOOD!

To protect Ollie and Oliver's stitches, Soua’d has had to hide the dry food and temporarily switch the other cats to wet food too.

We're hoping to manage this for the next few days and reassess, although the boys may need wet food only for approximately six days, subject to veterinary confirmation.

🐾 FOOD NEEDED:
Kit Cat Grain Free Wet Cat Food - Tuna & Chicken (cans) or similar flavours

🥣 Approximately 5–6 cans PER DAY for the cats currently needing wet-food feeding.

💔🐾 ZAIN'S WOUND HAS OPENED AGAIN...BUT WE FINALLY HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS ABOUT LITTLE LOUZ! 🥺❤️‍🩹

🐾 STRAY PROJECT - MEDICAL UPDATE 🐾

We wish we could bring you nothing but happy updates, but unfortunately, things have been incredibly difficult for our little rescue lately. 😔💔

Today, we have news about two of our boys who are still receiving veterinary treatment.

🩵 ZAIN - WHY WON'T HIS WOUND HEAL? 💔

Our poor Zain is struggling once again.

Some of you may remember that he was rescued with a deep wound underneath his eye. Despite receiving treatment and having the wound stitched, it unfortunately reopened.

And now, heartbreakingly, it has opened up AGAIN. 😭💔

We asked the vet why this keeps happening and whether anything more could be done to help the wound close.

According to the vet, the wound is in an extremely delicate area, with very little underlying tissue to support proper closure. This makes healing particularly difficult, and the area keeps becoming infected.

The clinic has now started Zain on a different antibiotic to see whether it helps control the infection and improve his healing.

At the moment, we simply don't know how things will progress. We are desperately hoping this new treatment will finally make a difference. 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹

Seeing his little eye looking so sore again is heartbreaking. He's already been through so much, and all we want is for him to heal and finally be comfortable.

🧡 LOUZ - OUR LITTLE BOY IS GETTING BETTER! 🥹❤️

And thankfully, amongst all the worry, we do have some encouraging news!

Remember the tiny ginger-and-white kitten we recently rescued after he became frighteningly thin and dehydrated?

We've now named him LOUZ! 🧡🐾

LouZ was suffering from a nasty open wound around his mouth and gums, with signs of infection.

He is still receiving veterinary treatment, but we're so relieved to share that he is showing improvement! 🥹🙏🏻❤️

He's eating wet food for now, and Soua’d has been bringing plenty of food sachets to the clinic every day for both Louz and Zain.

It's such a relief to see Louz looking brighter after the worrying condition he was in when we first took him to the vet.

He's not out of the woods just yet, but every little improvement gives us hope. ❤️‍🩹

💔 BEHIND EVERY UPDATE IS ANOTHER VETERINARY BILL…

Both boys still need care, and unfortunately, they are only two of the many rescues currently depending on us.

We have cats requiring ongoing hospitalisation, wound treatment, medication, dental care and recovery support.

Soua’d's personal credit card has already been completely maxed out trying to keep up with rescue expenses, and we are struggling enormously to cover the veterinary bills.

Yet the cats still need treatment, and the street colonies still need feeding every single night.

We genuinely cannot keep going without your help. 😢💔

🚨💔 PLEASE HELP US! WE ARE REACHING OUR BREAKING POINT - AND THE CATS STILL NEED US! 💔🚨

🐾 ANOTHER LITTLE LIFE IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP…

Some of you may remember the tiny ginger-and-white kitten we mentioned in our recent medical fundraiser update.

This is him. 💔

Soua’d has known this little boy from her feeding rounds since he was very young. He was one of the many street cats she regularly looked after, making sure he had food and water.

But recently, something was terribly wrong.

He started losing weight rapidly, becoming frighteningly thin and dehydrated despite having access to food. His condition was deteriorating, and Soua’d knew she couldn't leave him like that. 😭💔

She managed to get him to the veterinary clinic, where another heartbreaking problem became apparent.

As you can see in the footage, he has a severe open wound around his gums and the side of his mouth, with signs of infection.

Just imagine how uncomfortable and painful this must be for such a young kitten. 🥺

He cannot tell us how much he is hurting. He cannot ask anyone to take him to the vet.

All he can do is suffer quietly, hoping someone notices.

And thankfully, Soua’d did. ❤️‍🩹

But this is where we desperately need YOUR HELP.

🚨 SOUA'D HAS COMPLETELY MAXED OUT HER CREDIT CARD! 🚨

We wish we could say this is an isolated case, but unfortunately, it is far from it.

We have numerous sick, injured and vulnerable cats under our care, some requiring prolonged hospitalisation, medication, surgery, dental treatment and ongoing veterinary attention.

Every time another cat needs help, another bill is added to the ones we are already struggling to pay.

Soua’d has been covering enormous rescue expenses on her personal credit card, and it has now reached its limit.

She has even incurred a penalty for a missed credit card payment because there simply wasn't enough money to keep up.

💔 Things have become so difficult that she cannot currently afford to take even her own cats, or some of the rescues already in her care, for dental extractions and other veterinary treatment they need.

Please understand how heartbreaking this situation is.

She spends her days and nights helping vulnerable street cats, feeding colonies and trying to get sick and injured animals the treatment they deserve.

But she cannot continue financing all of this personally. There is simply nothing left to stretch. 😔💔

🐾 AND THE EMERGENCIES HAVEN'T STOPPED…

❤️‍🩹 Romeo has now undergone his major hip operation, but his surgery bill still needs to be covered.

💙 Sandy has needed prolonged hospitalisation for his slowly healing wound.

🩵 Zain required further treatment after the wound beneath his eye reopened.

🖤 Selma needed treatment, spaying, dental extractions and recovery care.

And now this poor little ginger-and-white boy is another patient who desperately needs our help.

These are only some of the many cases we are dealing with through our rescue and Stray Project.

🍽️ ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, WE STILL HAVE STREET COLONIES TO FEED.

Soua’d continues feeding multiple colonies every single night. Food orders alone can cost approximately 6,800 AED (£1,398), with another order often needed within just two to three weeks.

The cats are still there, waiting for their food.

The veterinary bills are still arriving.

And our resources are completely exhausted. 💔

🧸❤️ THE TEDDY UPDATE YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR…HE’S HOME! 🏡🥹❤️

After everything this beautiful little boy has been through, we can finally say it…

TEDDY IS SAFE, SETTLING IN AND LOVING LIFE IN HIS FOREVER HOME! 😭❤️

Since arriving, Teddy has been doing wonderfully well. He’s eating really well, toileting normally, exploring his new surroundings, enjoying plenty of fuss and affection, and slowly learning what it feels like to truly be home. 🧸💕

Seeing him curled up sleeping safely, playing, investigating everything around him and simply being allowed to relax has honestly made our hearts so full.

This is the little boy who went through unimaginable pain, major surgery, weeks of veterinary care, uncertainty over whether he would even be able to travel…and now look at him. 🥹❤️

He has a family who absolutely adores him, a warm bed, toys, cuddles, safety and most importantly - a home of his own.

His wonderful adopter is giving him all the time, patience and reassurance he needs, especially with his partial sight, and Teddy is already showing just how brave, resilient and loving he really is. ❤️
