Let's talk about what is really happening in a behaviour modification session...

Many trainers on the internet will have you believing in a simple, quick technique that solves the problem...

You wonder why it isn't working for you or you discover it's only a temporary fix.

Putting a plaster on a cut doesn't help much, in fact it normally slows down progress.

My behaviour programmes are a complete overhaul from levels that you didn't even know existed...

That's why it lasts the life time of the dog.

And why my clients come back to me everytime they get a dog.

One of the greatest misconceptions I encounter is that boundaries are restrictive.

In reality, healthy boundaries create freedom.

Dogs thrive when expectations are clear. Children do too. Relationships do too.

The households that appear calm from the outside are rarely calm by chance. They're built on quiet consistency.

Boundaries aren't about dominance or control.

They're about creating an environment where everyone knows what feels safe, respectful and predictable.

Interestingly, when I help families establish healthier boundaries with their dog, they often tell me something unexpected.

Their communication with each other improves too.

Because boundaries are never just about behaviour.

They're about relationships.

The way we set boundaries with our animals often reflects the way we set them with ourselves.

Thank you to Alison Houston for my bespoke ring I got made with Bambou's ashes and Thank you to the two people who made this happen in the UK whilst I was in Portugal.

I got to do a ceremony with her ashes too, she's under a lilac tree in our family garden that was highlighted by the sun. It was beautiful and special that I got to close our earthly connection in such an intimate way and that I get to have a part of her close to me always 💕🐾

This dog trotted past me on the road, I had to do a 17 point turn and go back and find him because you don't see that every day - it's such a great reminder!

In our human centric modern society, dogs get very little opportunities to make their own choices. In the middle-of-nowhere in Portugal they get plenty of opportunities to make choices!

I love seeing dogs missioning down the road like they've got somewhere to be 😁🐾🐾

My business has had to take a bit of a back seat so far in 2026 as I was served some hefty s**t early on... However, I'm back now, a holiday always does wonders 💪

A little life update:
I just went to South Africa to celebrate and welcome in the big 4 0 ‼️

I went through a relationship break up 💔

Little Rex won't be staying with me 😔

I read (listened to) the complete works of Neville Goddard (highly recommend!) ✨

I have lots of exciting developments in the pipeline!
