Thereās a lot of food shaming in the dog world, and what suits one person or their dog may not suit the next, and owners are just doing their best with the conflicting information they are consuming.
Thereās no such thing as one feeding method fits all.
It is my job, as a canine professional to guide you on the best way to feed your dog that suits your dog, lifestyle & budget.
I will always advocate for a fresh, nutritionally balanced diet, but itās more than just meat from the supermarket or chucking 20 different supplements on top of a low quality food.
Itās my opinion that all dog trainers and behaviourists should have good knowledge on canine nutrition, as we all know diet and behaviour go hand in hand. However if your trainer doesnāt, ask for canine nutritionist recommendations.
