Creativity and compassion can coexist on the runway. That's why we're urging the British Fashion Council to ban wild bird feathers from London Fashion Week events and leave wild animal products firmly in the past.

A new guide from our friends at Collective Fashion Justice showcases practical, stylish alternatives that allow designers to experiment with texture, volume and movement without harming wild animals ➡️ see comments for link.

No performances. No rides. No touching. No posing for pictures.

Being a responsible tourist means saying no to animal exploitation.

This , remember we should only visit genuine wildlife sanctuaries or observe animals in their natural environment from a safe and respectful distance.

In the rolling countryside of Shropshire, Planton Farm is proving that farming can work in harmony with animals, people, and the planet.

They use innovative approaches that give animals a life worth living, including:
🌱 Mobile chicken arcs: moveable housing that lets hens roam fresh pasture, forage naturally, and fertilise the land.
🌳Food forests: planting rows of fruit and nut trees to boost biodiversity and provide insects for the chickens to eat.
🐓 Dual-purpose chicken breeds: resilient, slower-growing birds used for both eggs and meat, avoiding the cruelty of culling male chicks at birth.

Our longstanding UK Ambassador Alesha Dixon is featured in this month’s woman&home ✨

Alesha has supported us for over 13 years and continues to stand up for animals around the world - from campaigning to end captive dolphin shows, to highlighting the shocking ways elephants are treated in the tourism industry and helping rescue two bears from illegal captivity in Romania.

Thank you, Alesha, for being a voice for animals 🧡

Shankar the elephant has died at just 29 years old at Delhi Zoo - less than half the natural lifespan of elephants in the wild. 🐘💔

Gifted from Zimbabwe to India in 1998, Shankar spent most of his life in captivity. After losing his only companion in 2001, he endured years of isolation and never found the freedom or family bonds elephants so deeply need.

His death is a stark reminder that elephants are sentient beings who feel joy, grief, and connection just like us. They do not belong behind bars or in solitary confinement.

It’s time we stopped treating wild animals as entertainers.

Wild bird feathers don’t belong on runways or in our wardrobes.

Thank you to Alesha Dixon, Gail Porter, Jenny Packham and House Of Tammam for taking a stand against using wild bird feathers in fashion and championing wildlife-free style.

Feathers belong on birds, not on the catwalk.

While the British Fashion Council has made progress by banning wild animal furs and skins from London Fashion Week events, they still haven’t banned wild bird feathers.

Sign our petition and call for them to make London Fashion Week wildlife-free. Together, we can put an end to the suffering of wild animals for the sake of fashion - link in comments.
