As they say, silence is golden ✨🤫 We're often asked if the pups are active all day--it's really important that they get some downtime after they've had their afternoon walks and a good play to avoid overstimulation, so the last couple of hours of their day are spent snoozing 😴

☀️ We are so ready for some summer sun! When the weather warms up, we love treating the pups to some dog-safe frozen goodies 🍦 This recipe from The Kennel Club UK contains just 3 simple ingredients and is super easy to make at home:

🫐🍌 Berry Boost Paws

Ingredients:

-140g blueberries (washed/rinsed)
-1 small ripe banana (peeled and broken into several small pieces)
-110g plain Greek yogurt

Method:

1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender. Blitz for about 90 seconds until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and have a smoothie-like consistency.

2. Pour the mixture into silicone ice cube molds--we love the look of paw prints 🐾 You may need to place the molds on a plate or baking tray before pouring in the mixture to ensure they can be easily lifted later.

3. Put the ice cube molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours.

4. Take the treats you want to give to your dog out of the freezer a few minutes before giving to them. This should help make sure that they're not too hard for their teeth.

📌 One batch yields about 20-22 treats given the size of the molds we use.

🩵 As always, we only give treats sparingly to ensure a balanced diet for the dogs in our care.
