Tomorrow is Beauty Barks Dog Fest!

This year all charitable contributions are going to be donated to The Hunt Family Fund.

Many of you will remember the devastating news of Louise, Hannah and Carol Hunt. Louise was a dog groomer and worked with Rachel, the owner of Beauty Barks, for several years.

Please come along to support this wonderful cause. The raffle has many prizes including vouchers for dinner at The Grove, Harry Potter Studios, David Lloyd and lots more…

There is also a dog show taking place, so please bring along your four legged friends. Lots of suppliers there, the Rugby club will be serving drinks and there will be food available too.

Let’s talk about nervous dogs for a moment 🐾

The first time this beautiful Tibetan Terrier came to me for a groom, I was warned she hated the bath and wasn’t a fan of the whole experience. But as you can see from the video… she’s absolutely fine in the bath 💛

At Dog Grooming by Sian, your dog will always be the only one in the bath at any time - even if you bring multiple dogs together. This is really important to me, mainly for safety, but also to build trust. I take extra care to make sure water stays away from their ears, eyes, and nose so they feel secure throughout.

I never rush my grooms. Every dog deserves the time they need to feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident. My goal is simple - I want them to want to come back.

And honestly, nothing beats seeing a returning pup happily pulling their owner through the door for their next appointment 🥰
