Disclaimer: She’s NOT a banned breed, even though people may give her the evil eye - shame, coz she’s the sweetest dog and would do anything for a belly rub.

It’s interesting how we often label dogs as “aggressive,” which can really skew our perception of their behaviour.

Aggression isn’t a fixed trait but rather an interpretation we make as observers. That means what might look like aggression to us could be something much more complex, depending on the context, motivation, and emotions at play.
Instead of jumping to conclusions, we should consider the emotions and motivations behind their actions. Understanding what our dogs are feeling can make a huge difference, especially in those moments that might seem challenging. 🐶💕

And while genetics can influence some behaviour, breed-specific legislations often misses the mark! It’s unfair to judge any dog solely on their appearance without considering their individual personality.

Had an amazing time at Goodwoof 2024 ! I’m incredibly grateful to the organisers for inviting me to participate (special thanks to Tom Betsworth, Sam Furey & Willow Craigie).

It was a pleasure chatting with so many wonderful dog guardians and offering tips to help with their pup’s behaviour. 🐶 Looking forward to Goodwoof 2025!!
