We'll be issuing an official press release but here's the latest news on Reptiles UK at Aquatics Live.
With deep regret, we have to announce that we won't be putting the show on in 2013. There are lots of contributary factors but in the end the longest recession in the country's history has affected both exhibitors and the organisers and the only way forward is to take a year out.
Talks are already under way regarding Aquatics Live 2014 and we hope you'll keep following us on Facebook for the latest updates. We are still convinced that there is a place for a large-scale European-style event in the UK and we'll be working hard to make it happen.
In the meantime, many thanks for all the support you've given us to date. We're looking forward to coming back with a bigger, better and brighter show next year!

The venomous reptiles were great. The crocodiles were fantastic. Feeding the chameleons was a highlight for the kids. We had a brilliant time at the show last weekend and thanks to Mark Amey and John Berry for some excellent talks!

Sad news - Chris Newman has been signed off sick and won't be able to speak at the show. Take a break, Chris, and get well soon! We do have news on Mark Amey's topics. In the morning he'll be looking at the best ways to give your animals the 'five freedoms' and in the afternoon he'll be looking at Dangerous Wild Animals and the domestic environment. All gold! Come and talk to Mark and John Berry between their sessions!

Just confirmed John Berry's talks in the Reptile Forum which are going to be superb. No one's better qualified to tell us about python and boa husbandry and in the afternoons he's focusing on his speciality, colour and pattern mutations. More news on other speakers on its way.

Great news! After lengthy discussions with the local authority we've agreed that Mark Amey will be able to display his venomous snakes! They don't make good pets but they make a great feature and Mark will be at the show to talkj to you about them!

Still working with the Local Authority to allow some venomous reptiles at the show. Green Mamba, Puff Adder, Rattlesnake and Gila Monster on the cards but it's a labyrinth of paperwork!
