LC Billys Baby Rose is a 13 year old APHA mare standing 15 hands. She is a granddaughter of both Roan Texas and Doc Tari, mainly quarter horse breeding on her papers except the bottom of her dams side. Sissy is about as straight to the point you can get, fun to ride and you can use her for just about anything. Arena work she is soft in the mouth, moves off leg, responsive. Easy transitions, flex’s, neck rein, headsets, side passes, nice stop and back. Sissy had spent many hours gathering cattle, working on the ranch, checking fences and roping calves. Been used for gymkhana/playdays, just grab and go. If Sissy has a lot of time off she will be a little more forward starting off but has never offered to buck, rear or bolt. Lots of trail time in different terrain, in groups or by herself. Does well with traffic or commotion, if something is odd to her the worse she has done is a head tilt and keeps walking. Will carry a flag, walk over and through things. Has been within one family since she was a young, they know the ins and outs to her. They said she’s one for the whole family to enjoy, as they had all ages and levels of riders on her. I would say if a very true beginner is one her, it would be best supervised as she does respond. We’ve had both my kids on her, in the saddle and ba****ck, I’ve had no concerns about their safety. Stands to be saddled , loads right into the trailer, likes her baths and a gem for the farrier. On the marish spectrum I would consider her on the lower end, only pins her ears at others when it’s feed time like majority of horses. Sissy is well rounded mare to have fun on, I think she would be a blast in ranch classes, sorting/penning too. She is current on feet, teeth, shots and deworming. No special shoeing and has had no other maintenance required at this point, easy keeper. Does have a superficial scar on her right knee and her left shoulder , does not bother her.
