After living on the streets in Georgia, we're so happy that this year gorgeous Sophie will get to enjoy the festive season in a loving home of her own.
Poor Sophie was found just 2 weeks before Christmas, riddled with worms and aged only 13 weeks old. Starving and alone, Sophie begged for food from strangers, but instead of helping they were throwing stones at her to make her go away.
Thankfully this sweet-natured girl was taken in by Dog Organization Georgia, who we sponsor, and was quickly rehomed, never having to return to a life on the streets again.

Ludu was a street dog in India and was picked up by HOPE & Animal Trust’s dog catching team while on a routine vaccination drive in Ranchi.
She had a very large tumour on her left hind leg which was painful for her and the team could see she was suffering. She was very stressed but they persevered and eventually caught her and brought her to their vet for treatment, who is sponsored by Mayhew International. The tumour was very large and this poor girl must have been suffering for a long time.

Winter has arrived in the Moscow region but the Fond Dingo vet team sponsored by Mayhew International is still responding to cries for help. 200 animals have been neutered so far this year, helping owners and families often in desperate straits. The next few months will be challenging ones but with your help we will strive to provide assistance where we can. Thank you.

Had a great time yesterday evening at Guide Dogs' office (guidedogs.org.uk) where I was happy to undergo stage 2 of Dog Handling Training! Ritchie taking a well deserved rest after a long day of work!!
