Celebrating the life of our most beloved, perfectly imperfect Barclay. After nearly 16 years with us, and in his 18th year, he's chased his final fox and he's gone to his last nap. Picked him up from and he's been at our heels ever since. Buses, trains, boats (he hated cars), hills, mountains, beaches, forests,pubs, restaurants, cinemas......always up for an adventure.
Many reading this will know him from his sterling work keeping out customers from HIS shop 🦁🤣. He was no people pleaser, and couldn't be bribed with a titbit. He liked to play hard to get. If you got a tail wag, or he sat near you, that was his way of saying you're a good sort. Great with kids, the elderly and anyone vulnerable - he loved people who were gentle. A bit of a thinker....he loved games, training, balls, sticks, toys. Always wanting to know what's next.
There's a hole in our lives at the moment, but we're filling it with the memories of our wonderful, peculiar, handsome dog.
