Responsible good breeders do genetic disease tests, the known HCM in Ragdolls, PKD in Persians. Queens are in the best health before mating. All kittens are well socialised within the home environment and NOT kept in a cage. Some breeders show their cats (which is very costly), to ensure ‘the correct breed standard and type’ is being upheld and produced
