For a stress free few days, my dogs are kept away from the Christmas tree and presents using a puppy pen as a barrier in front of the tree. So I don’t have to worry about them doing things I’d rather they didn’t!

Had a quick visit to Pets UK in Balham today to check out what I could recommend for my clients - found these great toys for mental stimulation, and some fab soft toys which are perfect for puppies (currently half price - yay!)

I had a lovely tour and lunch at The Kennel Club UK today, in Picadilly, organised by the Affenpinscher Club.

Did you know that the art gallery and library there are open to anyone? There are some beautiful works of art on display. And the library is an amazing resource for anyone interested in the history of dog breeds, and showing. According to one old book, dogs in the toy group (which includes the affenpinscher breed, which I have) were only for ‘dainty dames’ and ‘wanton women’! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was so proud to see one of my own dogs in the archives! ❤️ (Though i didn’t get a pic of it 🤦‍♀️)
