Molly has been gone a little over two years now. And Ollie Bowser has taken her place in my life. But she'll never be replaced in my heart.

This is John, Molly's dad here.
I am afraid that Molly had been unwell with an ulcer on her eye the last three weeks.
When she lost her left one to the same thing just over a year ago, I knew that it would be a calculated risk as if the same thing occurred with the right one, it would probably mean the inevitable.
Well sadly, despite the treatments for her eye, the ulcer would not heal and yesterday I had to make the hardest decision a man can make for his pup.
I couldn't leave her blind as she was far too skittish and nervous a dog to suddenly be robbed of her sight. So after a weekend of outings and fun with the people she loved I took her to the vet yesterday evening.
She slipped away in my arms, without a struggle or alarm.
I loved her incredibly and I am heartbroken by her departure.
But she lives on in my memories and in the thoughts of the people who loved her - and of course on this page.
Here is just about the last photo taken of her, by her new Mum
As you can see - she was still happy and otherwise healthy.
